Absolutly awesome. I've only been playing the demo, but it has the same exact feel as the first one, just with better graphics and physics.

Overall - the spinfursor is still the best weapon in the game.

There are a few vehicles that we havnt really seen before, and they all kick ass. Seriously, the fighter, albeit slow, is quite deadly. I was holding a whole team inside of their base earlier today in the caverns map. We just kept capping flag after flag.

The skiing is awesome. YOU CAN SKI ON WATER! This is seriously one of the best advances to the tribes game series. Being able to ski on water, and not end up going like 2 mph once under it is an amazing skill that every tribes player needs to hone. Without this skill - some flag caps in clan matches will be absolutly impossible.

Uhh... touching more on the graphical side, it could use a bit better particle effects, but they are still good. Some of the explotions are a bit small for the size of the gun - such as the rocket pod.

Overall - I'd give this game a 9 out of 10.

Disclaimer: I am a FPS fanatic - and love the tribes series, so I think I am a bit biased.

This game has the fun-factor of Tribes 1 with some of the candy from Tribes 2. A step in the right direction. Tribes 2 just couldn't hold my attention very long like 1 could.

I beta'd it, I thought it was fun, but ultimately not as much fun as other games on the market, such as Rome Total War. I found myself bored after a short time and deleted it.
