Bullshit call imho. The kid just followed what a court had said was ok, he gave the money back and has done everything he could to get back in school. Shitty decission by the NCAA.

I'm in no way an SC fan, but that's bullshit.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

Don't count on it. USC has some stellar receivers as it is and a brutal running game.

Fuck USC, fuck them right in their ear.

That's what they get for beating the Maize and Blue!

Here's a breakdown of the USC vs Virgina Tech keys to the game for the die hard football fans that understand X's and O's.

Mike should have been smart and taken classes in the spring, even if he had to pay for them himself. The NFL lawyers eat punks like Clarett for breakfast, and declaring early based on the preliminary ruling was really, really dumb.

Agreed, but he isn't Clarett. He followed a court ruling, he then did everything to get back in (including taking summer classes). I agree with not letting them into the league, but Williams should be allowed back into USC imho.

My point is that Williams (or somebody close to him with half a fucking brain) should have known that the NFL would squash Clarett like the bug he is.

The only people who actually thought Clarett stood a chance of winning were Maurice, his mom, his agent ($upri$e), and Jim Brown (fucking headcase).

Couldn't agree more.

HOWEVER, as an LSU fan, I am glad that because of this, there is less of a chance of a split title this year

So much for that one. It looks like the USC receivers need work. 3 TDs but all were thrown to their RB Bush.

Whoa, is the date/time stamp messed up on the board? If I made this post on August 26, I would have made a different bet!

I'm good for up to 4K VVs on that bet. Choose the amount and it's a bet!

I highly doubt USC will lose 3 games. Leinart settled down and is a Heisman candidate. Bush is a Heisman candidate but as RB, kick returner AND wide receiver. The young offensive line and wide receivers will settle down and get better along with their QB. Their defense started working in the second half yesterday.
