i really enjoyed both of the first episodes. i think leary is doing well with the dramatic acting, that was a nice surprise. i always picture him screaming jokes as he sweats, which i love, but that wouldn't carry over very well into a dramatic series about nyc firefighters.

they've done sort of a "providence" thing where leary talks to ghosts of dead people. mainly his best friend who worked with him and died on 9/11, but he also sees dead people who have died in his fires.

plus they let leary cuss it up, which puts fx in my cool book.

Yeah, this is a very good, touching series, I love it.

Is FX like HBO where they replay the episodes during the week? I'd like to check this out.
