Doom3...NVidia and ATi

Sort of offtopic.. But is Doom3 really that anticipated? It's just Doom! I played with the beta some and wasn't that impressed. Just didn't seem that new or exciting to me.

If they ruin Doom3 like every other one of my childhood memories I'm going to frag both Id and Activision irl!

Everything that I remember as wholesome and good from my childhood is ruined! Hi transformers, he-man, GI Joe the new versions suck! Oh yeah and it turns out robotech really sucked too and the new versions are better go figure.

The Doom 3 Beta unoptimized ran fine on an ATi 9700 almost a year ago.
