Im currently on the race "Four Play" i blieve its number 84 or so.
This race seems 100% impossible, but i know it cant be. Ive tried this race now so far at least 100 times, and i cant seem to get control of it.
The damn Rx-7 seems like he has some massive upgrades that ive never heard of b4, like he'll be 2seconds in front of me going at a steady pace, then out of no where it'll jump up to 4 seconds or 6 seconds, and hes not using noss boost.
Other than that, all i do is run into shit (walls, pillars, cars, ramps, street signs, on comming traffic, u name it)
anyone have any idea on what i have to do in order to beat this?
Im using a Toyota Supra with all available upgrades, and i cant switch cars cuz i dont have any money to.

Well to put your mind at ease. I do not think it's your car that is lacking. I stuck with the Honda Civic through the entire game and bet it on medium.
A few of the races what I did was purposely stay in 2nd place drafting behind the first place car then at the end shoot some nos and zoom by him.

drop your speed upgrades - it will drop theres too. More of a trick than anything helpful - I'm also fond of pushing people into poles to put them down.

Not that I have never used cheat codes or hacks, but only after either I've beaten the game, or have lost interest in it. Anyways, to each his own, I guess! =P
Yes, well ud think after over 100 tries id know the levelif you really want to beat the mission, i would advise learning the course well wnough that you don't slam into everything. That would probably help a lot.
I know the level, i knew the level well enough before i tried this race. The whole game is just one big city, and u race each time in different parts of it, id say i know the place, and i do really.
The only problem is, the game knows where u wanna go, and it will throw traffic at u, or have an opponent ram u, or have the opponent throw u into a wall/pillar/traffic sign/traffic, anything. The game is very fast and agressive, which is what makes it most frustrating and annoying

As for the PC version, which I've been playing more than the console lately.. What trainer did you use? The couple I've tried won't work. One (the +9) just drops the game to windows. The +6 (or +3 i think) doesn't do anything at all. I'm using an un-upgraded version of NFSU and am stuck on a stupid fooking 6 lap race that's pissing me off. Lead the whole thing until the last part of the last lap when some traffic comes out of nowhere to make you lose.
