I just got back home after seeing the opening night of this year's Ozzfest tour in Hartford CT. WOW what a show.

Didn't catch any 2nd stage acts but I hear that Slipknot put on a ferocious set. On the main stage, Zakk Wylde's band put on a good show, Slayer was awesome, was privileged to see the first show in 12 years by Judas Priest including Rob Halford, and Black Sabbath closed the night with an amazing set featuring their classic lineup of Ozzy/Iommi/Geezer/Ward, they didn't play any songs newer than 1975.

This show brought me and my friends back to our metal roots. We all felt like we were 18 again.
