Aye, it is not the yank way. Southerners do put it on their grits down here, some even with a touch of cinnamon. It is the southern way because they also put sugar into tea. Case in point, go to a northern restaurant and order tea, its unsweetened. Do it down south and you'll get 4 cavities and a side of biscuits.

yeah but most Southerners think tea is served cool. To get a cup of tea (instead of Iced Tea) you have to order Hot Tea in most restarants... talk about backwards
