Just played through the demo... it's pretty awesome. Is the whole game as linear? I'm assuming yes, and that's not necessarily a problem.

I died twice, hate the death animation you can't skip, and don't want the targeting system to allow me to continue shooting something that's already dead. Reloading is too slow and there's no always-behind camera mode. I might pick this up this week.

This is the tree I went down with my defender. I have that turret and I play with my brother-in-law who has a berserker. Big fights I drop the turret and pop the taunt battle cry. He runs around and mows crap down.

On the trolls I take off their armor with my long range laser rifle and then he jumps on them to kill them.
Also I noticed the laser rifle grenades appear to have a dot on them after they explode.

I got a set of red pistols last night that are 200 Damage and cost 200k bouty to craft. They're level 34 and look completely badass. I'm going to be hopefully making them tonight and trying em out. I usually rely on my Rifle's grenade a lot but if these can mow down baddies in half the time it will be worth it.

Ran level two tonight with my brother-in-law.
Human Bio Eng and cyber berserker is crazy good.
He wails away at stuff while I damage and heal as needed. Also the spider shield from the skill tree affects both people in Co-Op.
Group 50% heal + remove status effects for 1 combo point is really nice for those multi-troll fights.

I think I am getting the hang of the berserker a little better. I also think that having elite weapons/armor does give you a bit of an edge, contrary to everyone that said the monsters were always 100% equal to you.

Trolls are probably the easiest thing for me as a berserker to take down.. I jump in the air, break their chest armor in one hit, run around their back, and mount kill - it's literally almost as fast as killing a goblin. Even Dark Elves lost their difficulty for the most part.

The only things that give me issues are things that shoot projectiles (I seem to not have great defense against them for whatever reason), and the fat fucks in Hel. The fat bastards aren't even hard, the problem is when I go in to fight them, I jump up in the air and start hitting them, and I glitch and get stuck on the heads of all his little bitches that follow him around... It's one of the more annoying glitches I've found so far.

I finished my second playthrough last night, and the fight with Hel was almost a joke. I think the whole thing was over in less than 2 or 3 minutes. I just wish I could run through the other bosses that quick.

I'm hoping to start seeing a piece of the Rage set (berserker 7 piece elite set) soon, that would be pretty bad ass, but I guess we'll see!

Animalor - If you are on tonight let's do some co-op! I have a dentist appointment, and I hate the dentist. I'll certainly be ready to kick some goblins ass after that :D

Running around in that city made me want to slit my wrists. Please tell me I can skip that stuff if I play through on a second character...

Oh, and my zero death count got flushed down the toilet when I hit Grendal. So, that's the death animation everyone is up in arms about? It's not so bad.

So far, I would rank this a 7/10. It isn't nearly as bad as others are saying, but it's flaws seem really stupid. Seriously, most of the mistakes I see in this game should've been learned with the last generation of gaming. Resident Evil camera angles do not fucking work. Losing control of your camera at every other turn is stupid. Allowing players to free look 1/6th of the game but not the rest, is stupid. I'm most frustrated because the potential is there, but the few poor mistakes just seem so elementary I can't help but get frustrated at times.

Oh yeah, I really hate the cyberspace world. Nice concept, terrible delivery.

Are there seriously only 5 fucking enemies in this game? I'm dropping my score from a 7/10 to a 6/10. Decent in small doses. I played for about 4 hours tonight, and I just kind of glazed over. I stopped having fun about 2 hours in, and just went through the motions for the last 2. It's all the same. Over and over and over and over. 20 - 25$ would be a good price for this game. Anything more is totally not worth it IMO. I will not be doing a second play through.

I've played through 4 or 5 times now and I'm still having fun with it. I would play through a second time at least, tbh. IMO the game got a lot more fun after the first play through.

Good run last night Funk.

Can you believe that I lasted up to the bridge of the World Serpent before dying. I died in the bonus pit under the bridge.

I'm pretty sure that we can pull off the whole level without dying. We just have to be a bit more careful when engaging.

Oh.. And I charged my headset so I'll be able to talk tonight. Not having voice was a complete PITA..

Yeah it did go well! I just got home now and will probably be on in a bit. We just need to figure out what the best tactic is when we have multiple trolls in a small space and we can do that level just fine. Right after you got off I went to the weapon shop and they had the swords for my 7 piece level 50 elite set. Then today I started a new campaign and got the helmet for the set off the boss, I got lucky!!

Hopefully we can both finish those sets up soon, the gear definitely makes a difference. I guess there are also orange sets that come with red runes in them - so if you fill all those up with mastery/other red runes I guess they could possibly even be just as good.

I popped this in last night in a fit of boredom. Still haven't managed to get the 1k gamerscore on this.

I may get my champion to 50 and see if I have more luck with another character to get the full set.

Yeah I think I just got lucky on my berserker! I like this game, I hope the next games in the series are good too.
