Actor-
James Earl Jones- He was Darth Fucking Vader, Thulsa Doom, and the guy Jack Ryan looked up to. His voice is so badass that womens panties spontaneously disintigrate at the mere sound of it. No fucking contest. Kinf of Zamunda for the win.

Music-
Johny Cash- This guy is so manly that when people say "The Man in Black" and everyone knows who you are talking about. He is so manly that only James Earl Jones could even be remotely manly enough to play him in a biographical movie.

Comic Book Character-
Lobo- The guy kils santa clause in a knife fight. He gets drunk so he can consider killing superman an actual challenge. The only guy in his league would be Victor Von Doom, but Lobo rides a spacefaring motorcycle and uses a hooked chain in combat, so he is the clear winner.

Movie Character-
Scarface- One AK47 Assault Rifle + One giant pile of cocaine = 70+ dead cuban hitmen. You fuck with me you fuck with the best!

Bullet Tooth Tony- The fact that it says Replica on the side of your gun and that it says Deasert Eagle on the side of mine, should precipitate the shrinkage. Now, fuck off!

Real Life Badass-
General Sherman- The guy cut a path of burnt destruction 5 miles wide across 5 states that the south is still pissed about almost two centuries later. Pretty much single handedly nailed the coffin shut for the south in the civil war.

What I believe I'm going to do for the next phase is the following:
Anyone who wants to will be able to select 2 individuals from the list and write a detailed account of why they believe that individual _should_ be on the list. I strongly encourage you to NOT just write the type of bullshit that I've seen for a local Jack Bauer fan. The idea is, you're familiar with the character, and you're going to inform the readers here. You're going to describe specific events or actions that this character did that make him a badass. As an example:
Jules - Pulp Fiction
Carries a wallet that says 'Bad Motherfucker' on it.
Is able to be in the same car as John Travolta without killing him.
Recites Ezekiel 25:13 prior to killing someone.
Is a hitman by profession.

(just an example, but you get the idea. There were some great examples given for the guy in Deadwood yesterday in IRC)

You will also write descriptions of why 2 people should_NOT_ be on the list.

I'll figure out the description phase. Everyone is allowed two votes for and two against. I will not accept entries that show a lack of character knowledge, or idiotic fanboiism with no content. You MUST know your favorites. You're trying to convince others.

Any character that gets nothing but no votes is immediately gone. All other characters will be part of the voting, which will be in the form of a poll. I will include the best descriptions in the poll post. Once we have a winner, the writers of the descriptions for their characters will win some unscecified number of VVs. I can't say the number until I have an idea of how many descriptions there will be for a given character. Obviously, I can't pay out 1000vvs per character if 30 people do a write up on Batman.

If any of this is unclear, let me know.

What context do you need for Elric? He looks like a pansy with albino skin but has a sword that feeds him. It requires the blood and souls of many victims, thus he goes out and kills...lots. He is the ruler of dreaming city. Plus he looks awesome.
