I just got a PM from Lohrno that let me know I was on trial... if that tells you anything about how much attention i've paid to the vault lately... I did get online to check hp survivor a few times, but i started a new job this week and can't screw around..... yet.
I am innocent !! I played no part in these killings !
and the roles i played in previous games has nothing to do with this... ive never been mafia, and i'm not mafia this time either.

Don't piss off the Phantom of the Courtroom! He lurks deep beneath the courtroom halls, plotting his revenge on those who constantly vote guilty without giving much reason other than statisitcs!

I'd vote not guilty if I saw some ultra-elaborate defense, personally. I think it'd give some flavor to the game. I'm talking about a Rellix-esque defense like the one he used in the last game. Yeah, he was my Mafia partner, but I think it'd be more interesting if people would go to those kinds of lengths to defend themselves. This early in the game there's no way to know if someone is/isn't Mafia, and then there are the obvious statistics... so yeah.
There may be a Phantom of the Courtroom, but I'm the Citizen of Sanctuary, and I love to see capital punishment enforced upon those who give no good defense!
In the Mafia Discussion Thread someone mentioned something like a "3 strikes, you're out" deal for those voting guilty on citizens...
There really needs to be some sort of incentive =/ Maybe uh... anyone who votes 3-5 (whatever the number) citizens guilty is automatically put on trial the next day for reasons of suspicious/reckless voting behavior (in addition to the two the detectives pick).
Well I don't see a problem with people who always or almost vote guilty if they are at least giving good reasons for their suspicions...It's enough that it makes THEM look suspicious...but I will have those who vote guilty constantly for a few days with little back up executed...
Let me bold that...
Slight rule alteration: If you vote guilty for more than a couple days without giving any reasons you may die horribly.
If you think someone's guilty you should let people know why...Statistics is not an acceptable argument. "Their defense sucked" is okay but try to say why it sucked.
The ways of the mafia are odd sometimes. Sometimes when they go in for the kill it's ironic, sometimes quick and simple. This was a different case however.
Drinsic was walking to work today in the early morning when the mafia got him. 5 large men grabbed him and escorted him to the abandoned Arby's. They claimed they were with the witness protection program, and Drinsic believed them. When they got there, without a word, they unceremoniously shoved him towards the meat slicer. It took about 30 minutes and many screams to create all the thin slices of Drinsic's head. 2 hours later there was no part of him that could not be folded up, and put on a bun.
Chidoro was walking home last night when he met his unfortunate demise. He walked home whistling a light tune, trying to look inconspicuous.
To the left, almost out of his vision he saw a shadow jump. It caught his attention, but by the time he actually moved his eyes, it was gone. He turned on his feet, and spun around. Everything was completely as it should be. Quikee's was closing, there were a few kids hanging out outside, the occaisional car passed by. He decided it was just his nerves, and contined on.
It wasn't too much later on his way home that it happened. To an observer it looked like this: A dark blur quickly ran past Chidoro. At Chidoro's neck, a glint of metal, and shortly after the blur darted around the corner. Chidoro's severed head hit the pavement slightly before his body did, his neck a slow but massive fountain of blood.
You wake up this morning to find that one of your detectives is gone. There are still 3 mafia at large. Detectives, tell me who comes to trial today.
Disclaimer: I apologize for deaths written in the morning. Honestly even as I write this the fog of the morning still hangs over me if you know what I mean...
This is going to sound awfully hypocritical, but if we do not vote them guilty, we are allowing the mafia to get one step closer to winning. I know you let me free, for what it is worth I AM innocent, but voting innocent is s losing proposition. One of our detectives died last night and today, I want blood. Your reasons better be pretty durned good or I will vote guiltay guiltay guiltay!
That DOES sound awfully hypocritical, but our detectives probably had thier reasons.
That said, sorry I didn't vote, I was out last night w/ friends having some beer to take the edge off the pain from my dentist visit (also there's something just wrong about having smoke in your mouth from your tooth being drilled).
Wow so I am getting guilty votes before I even post a defense? Idiots. Plain and simple this time around I'm not mafia. I have been mafia last 2 games and I begged to not be mafia this time because I hate it. I hated coming up with the stupid stories that you have to come up with to kill people. And I hated the citizens who constantly vote guilty without seeing a defense. So whether or not I get voted guilty or not, I really don't care, will be another citizen to go through the ringer for being found guilty with no evidence brought up towards them.
Btw..what evidence is it that the detectives are using to bring me to trial today? Seeing as how I have to post a defense...I want to know why they think I'm suspicious/guilty enough to be put on the stand. Speak up, otherwise it doesn't matter, I'm sure I'll die anyways.

I don't do "requests" in this manner. Some of you have found that out already the first days of the first game when they tried to give me 1000+vvs to be mafia.
Since Lohrno decided to add in that last part I will add in this. The judge can't be swayed and I didn't ever bribe Lohrno to not be made mafia or vice versa because as Lohrno so blatantly put it in last post..that isn't something that can be done. But I was tired of being the mafia because everyone voted guilty no matter what. I figured this time around being a citizen would be different. But it isn't aparently.

No you didn't but Akaran_D and Fash and a couple others tried that.
