I was. I got really sick of reading the same tired shit EVERY TIME Dregor posts something.

Personally, I believe that Cartalas should eat a suspension for general stupidity, but he gives my STFU list purpose

But don't let someone who didn't join on Jul 02, 2002 fight fire with fire, because THAT is when RULES start popping up all over the place. Rules that, yes, the "virtual bullies" have broken on many occasions, but rules that YOU must abide by.

Soon after these RULES (that only apply to you) are thrown into the ring from nowhere, the mods come running. "Holy SHIT! Someone said something bad to Dregor?!?! FUCK ALL THAT!!!! WHERE IS (S)HE?!?! I'LL KILL HIM/HER WITH MY BARE FUCKING HANDS AND THEN FRY THE CARCASS AND SERVE IT TO MY FAMILY FOR THANKS-FUCKING-GIVING!".

Really...you don't have to look very hard to see the double standards, BS rules and censor mods of VV.

Well you're a regular William Wallace Brand Official Freedom Fighter™ now, aren't you? Your first two paragraphs there are about the clearest example of projection that I've ever seen. Never before yourself have I seen somene try so hard to matter and to be so visibly hurt when they didn't, only to then try and become the big bully of the board (see: your posting history). It was your delusional rant and continued bitterness that caused people not to like you, not some fictional fnord or anything of the sort.

You mention in a previous post that said fnord has all kinds of sway over the admins, which is a patently false statement. You also bring up censorship as if it happens all the time, which has also been brought up the 2 other times there were even whispers of something along these lines occurring. The real story is that Atokal has consistently been a douchebag and has gone after a real life attack that everyone has known was taboo since day one. The only difference yesterday was that I chose to finally enforce it.

Dregor didn't ask for it because he can't defend himself or because the insults were bothering him, far from it. When I mentioned that I'd given Atokal a timeout Dregor actually appeared to disagree with that decision. Really Atokal was a "victim" of the circumstances more than anything else... I got tired of his lack of creativity ("fat fuck" and "fatboy" are quietly gaining ground on "junior" in his repertoire) and it was a slow news day and finally the straw broke the camels back. As you said, you weren't here on day one so you got a little more leeway even though you're just about as deserving, and I'll admit that you're usually a bit more creative than Atokal so that works in your favor as well.

The bottom line is that I don't want to ban people and I have a pretty level-head, as even some of the people that I don't really get along with will attest to. If I banned people just because I didn't like them, this board would have had quite a few less people for a long time now. It just so happens that my distaste for stale, unfunny material outweighed my nearly legendary patience (and humility!) in this instance. If you feel that someone has been doing the same thing (repeatedly attacking someone on the basis of a RL characteristic, often without even having been provoked recently and almost always not even in the same thread) to you or someone that I am overlooking, please gather up the links and send them my way and I'll do my best to take the appropriate action.
