How many of you liberal hippies are leaving the states if...

What do you think about the world?

If Xzion leaves over Bush winning, I am moving to a swing state, and registering and voting for Bush immediately. Otherwise I will stay in Michigan and vote liberatarian as Kerry has already purchased the Michigan electoral votes.

Just slide on over here to Wisconsin. Last I heard we are still in play although leaning Kerry. Gore won Wisconsin by only 6,000 votes in 2000.

I'll definitely consider it. It's not a "my hero lost" thing. It's more of a "I don't want to live in a third world country" or a "I don't want to have a bomb dropped on me" or a "I don't want to live in a police state" thing.

I think you are overestimating the power of one position in our government. We do have a legislative group to balance at least some of his power. We have survived other bad presidents and we have survived other bad congressional groups. We will survive whether Bush or Kerry is in office.
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

Funny you ask that question. I was just thinking about where I could go that would be better than America if Kerry were to somehow get elected. But, I was unable to come up with any place as great as America, even with 4 more years of destructive liberal ideology.
4 More years....uhhh which years we talking about?

I think Midnyte made it to "D" in the dictionary or something. Thikn he has used "dense" in every single post lately. Now, I am all for him trying to expand his limited vocabulary, but please.. there are more words and expressions out there!

So we are recovering from the best economy in American history. Now while there is always a correction (think the late 80-early 90's) to say we are recovering would be as you put it...dense. Sadly the concept of deficit spending has been status quo for the past 4 years, this has driven the economy into the shitter just like it did in the final Reagan years/1st Bush years. Those who fail to heed history are doomed to repeat it

Uh-huh. In case you haven't noticed we have been fighting a war for the last 3 years. It will take another extended length peace time for a president to get all the accolade for a great economy.

We got our tax cuts pre-war and were scheduled for deficit spending because of them, keep shootin though, you might hit a valid point
