I don't hate you Stragi. The sigs and avatars were annoying but your posts were fine. Your avatar and sig(s) definately qualify as part of the problem being discussed but if/when the ignore avatar function is in place, it's business as usual.

Well, some of your actions lead me to believe otherwise. Having Sylvus make mods STFUable? You could have just you know, asked me to remove them. I've had them up for quite awhile and you didn't start complaining until now? first off .. sorry for bumping this, but i wanna clear a few things up, and i read the boards too seldomly it seems.

People do post from work. So why is it going to kill the few people to make it a lil more civil for them? Is it a blow to your manhood? Give it a rest. If you like tits and ass so much, go to some porn site.

i know people post from work, what i choose to have as an avatar shouldn't have some boundaries which say wether or not i am beeing civil, given the avatar isn't a picture of anything containing sexual acts. a picture of a woman or man half dressed is not and should not be considered nws, end of story.
my manhood, heck no, personally i've always had a very un-nws avatar here on vv a picture of some cartoon character, and i dont come here to see pics of tits and asses, i come here for the enjoyment of reading threads.

Rasspotari chill the fuck out. I've read all these threads and not a single person has complained that these avatars are offensive to them personally- they just don't want to get fired. While I'm sure you wouldn't mind going down in a blaze of glory protesting the violation of your free speech rights, some people would rather keep their jobs. Start mass e-mailing employers and the president if you really want to make a difference. Maybe next year he'll include this very important issue in his State of the Union along with the next country we're going to invade. Where did you say you were from again?

i'm as cool as can be thx for asking, what i write isn't a good description of what i am feeling. and i know noone has complained about the avatars beeing personally offensive, when i was calling someone pussywhipped it was aimed at those that were beeing pressured into asking other posters on forums they read at work, to change the pic content of their posts so they wouldn't get into trouble.

Because of this, companies in the US, where people who are uptight and stupid are allowed to have an opinion, have to protect themselves. Now, depending upon where you are in your environment, enforcement, acceptability, and sensitivity can vary greatly. But don't give me this bullshit about you're being opressed or you don't understand. That's the way it is over here, and that's why the moderators are trying to put in some limits. So people can have fun with the site the way it's intended.

the deal is big yes, cuz imo i think the line will get pushed further and further, you in fact need to stop it yourself and not just say "well i dont wanna rock the boat, i might get fired" , because then you start to live it, get used to it, teach it, and then preach it. then the line gets pushed further. and no a chick in a bikin isn't a part of my identity, then again the avatar i have isn't either, but heck one day someone might call the copyrights lawyers and ask me to donate to pikachu foundation for every post i make. the point is, having others decide what is allowed where and when doesn't compute. imo you should allow someone else to tell you what is allowed, where something is allowed, or when it's allowed, if someone starts doing more then one of those 3 things, he's crossing your line. but that's just me, and i'm a control freak i spose. the audacity of me wanting to decide what i put in my posts /gasp
