Anyone know this system pretty well?

I need to know how i can change my device manager so i can change my monitor and some other things in it. All my options are grayed out leaving me stuck in all default crap.

go under contol panel and administrative options, i think that can help you.

sorry, Administrative Tools, then go to Computer Manager then the Device Manager. That should do it.

Well i am in their but it still doesn't give me an option to open up device manager so i can change it grrr im starting to dislike winxp

I just want to change my flippin monitor from default to what it is. ouy

Fastest way to get to device manager is to right click on my computer. Click on manage.

This will not fix your problem tho.

Right click on desktop. Goto propertires. Click settings tab. Click advanced button. Click on monitor tab.

Yes, but they replaced them with drivers from Win 2k which are actually just as good as the Win XP drivers and she still does not deserve them. I am going to start a personal campaign to get her knocked down to Win 3.11 drivers.
