Elemental Player Crafted Armor...
Does any guild make and sell it? I have 'never' seen any created and sold... in fact I have never actually seen anyone wearing it.
Here is an Example: http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=20526
Peace yo.

We've made a good number of elemental tradeskilled armor pieces, but nearly all have been given to members to wear. I think we've sold a few pieces, but not very many.

Lots of people use stuff from exp groups to make those armors.
However earth leather is a pain in the ass (well they all are), so you're unlikely to see anything above silk being sold in the baz. The only easy pieces are silk stuff. Your best bet is to talk to some friends in cd/coe/ixt/leg/valhall/fires and see if they can get you components, then find a good tailor, not buy it outright.

For example, for that tunic you need:
3 Earth Mephit Blood
1 Earth Mephit Skin
6 Bar of Immaculate Steel
Powdered Chip of Granite
Vial of Liquified Earth
Or close to those numbers... That's assuming no fails. Mephit stuff fairly common. Steel too. Granite and Liquified Earth normally takes awhile. Since most elemental tradeskill stuff takes a group to get you wont normally see any of that stuff up for sale unless someone either a) Has no clue what it's used for or b) is being a selfish person and not keeping it in the guild to make things members may need.
As more guilds get there though I'm sure items may become more common.

Elemental tradeskill material is entirely too rare. Yes, mephit skins abound, but each plane seems to have it's own pain-in-the-ass item to get.
My findings for Smithing/Tailoring/Fletching drops from a decent statistical sample (i.e. all of the drops from dozens of guild "leave nothing but scorched earth"-type raids as well as many hours of individual and group farming).
Plane of Fire
Molten Substance (1/ea smithing temper)
OBSIDIANWOOD SAPS (DAMN YOU TO HELL AID (sic) GRIMEL!)
EDIT: REALLY a pain-in-the-ass - entirely too rare
Plane of Water
$himmering Fi$h Gill$ (1/ea smithing temper)
(yes, the MOBs that drop the Ice and Soapstones are tougher, but the drop rate is better)
EDIT: Yeah, PoW armor is teh WIN, but they fucked up - the items with this template (high HP/PR/DR) should have come from the Elemental Plane of Earth and vice-versa
Plane of Earth
Liquified Earth (1/ea smithing temper)
(If you don't have access to Earth B, Earth Mephit Blood is probably on your list of pain in the ass as well because the mephits in Earth A are tougher to get to/kill with an exp group. I'll wager 75%+ of all earth mephit blood entered the game through Earth B raids)
Plane of Air
Gaseous Condensate (1/ea smithing temper)
May as well list Fog Fragments here as well - the drop rate on these two items is pretty bad. We probably average more silk/spider eyes than any of these to date.
EDIT: It didn't help that they forgot to add the smithing components until after we had beat Xegony the first time and even then the elementals were still dropping shit like Airstrand Silk half the time... wtf
Tie this with the 50% (estimated) failure rate for a GM tradeskiller and you'll see why these elemental tradeskill drops and equipment are rarely sold, but usually go to mains with shitty equipment, and inhouse secondaries.
When something along these lines (usually a finished product) is sold, it is often the result of days of farming by someone who is cash impoverished, so it will not be discounted, but rather sold at a premium.
BTW, all 4 elemental pottery items fall into this category as well. Entirely too rare - my biggest fear for months was that each person was going to need a multielement glaze to make thier key for the Plane of Time. That is a camp fest that would have driven many to quit the game.
I would also like to add that elemental BOWS are entirely out of whack with the rest of the elemental tradeskill item rarity/risk/reward. We were able to crank out dozens before we had enough temper materials for our first smithing combine. (OK, I'm a smith by nature, but I do all tradeskills, so consider this an unbiased opinion.)

Ashur, the part that really burns me up about that armor is I will likely never see it nor would I ever be able to pay what I know it would sell for. BLARGH!
WTS Stonehide Tunic - 700kpp!
Sometimes I wish I had the eBay mantality... I would buy PP like a mad man, but I just cant bring myself to purchase game data for money :) Nope, just cant do it. It would make me feel dirty. I feel nasty enough paying SoE just to play :)
PS: I am trying to buy Ornate Leather Bracer Pattern, Ornate Leather Glove Pattern, Ornate Leather Arms Pattern.... if anyone is selling please let me know. Currently I have Tunic (thanks Guildies joo own) and Legs (ouchie, was expensive).

That's because most XP groups tend to take the easy way out and camp near the zone. When I pull I can easily get 5 mephtis per round. You just need an XP group that isn't afraid to move farther in and you can do quite well on any item you need. Common-drop items that is.If you don't have access to Earth B, Earth Mephit Blood is probably on your list of pain in the ass as well because the mephits in Earth A are tougher to get to/kill with an exp group.
