Well it seems with the new expansions, that you cant really steamroll anyone, thus taking away from what the flamevault was known for. It kinda is funny to think that at one point, this vault was know for bitching at people, and now we have polls on how we whipe our asses.

Oh the change.

It's because we only had 1-3 people doing 100% of the guilds work when most guilds divide it up more evenly. We had some officers who did nothing but put thier friends names in on loot, long after we thought the "brotherhood of loot" was gone.

I accepted Officer status only as a trial, I didn't want to be an officer but when you hear your tied on votes for officer status with Thess....well I thought about who should be officer and the pickings were so slim at that point that I figured "wtf, I guess I should try" I stepped down after I saw the situation the officers faced, I couldn't hack it, I was butting my head up against the wall on a daily basis. I hated the fact we couldn't even make guild guidelines or vote new players in because only 3 or 4 officers out of a dozen would even vote....and we needed 9 to pass anything.

But Kaluian pulled a good quote from Furor, Furor was absolutely correct...if CoED hadn't stepped in front of us to take #2 slot.....we could have kept going indefinately. But once that happened our attendance fell, we lost some good members. The new members that replaced them did not have the same level of dedication. There was no fire in thier heart. If we tried something new, most of the time we would have shitty numbers (exception: Ssra Emporer, that shocked the hell out of me we had what 80 people? We were getting 30 for PoP mobs.)

There I hope it exploded.

------------------------------------------

As for Drewon, Drewon was a good ranger. He was a devoted member of the guild for the time he was in it. He would check spawns, he followed orders well, he even helped lead and create strategies. He was one of the 4 late additions I say really gave me hope...the rest were filler replacements....voted in for numbers or with a glimmer of promise that was never delivered. One of the other 4 late additions for example would be Ceno....he was a great shaman, very hardcore player, intelligent, kind. Not as much of a leader but a valuable asset....he would die a million times over a 20 hour straight period to accomplish the goal if you asked him to.

Kylere was also a good member in his day. But it was an earlier day....mainly before Drewon joined, which is why they are clashing now....if you guys played together more often, if you were in your "hardcore" phase at the same time....you would have been good friends.

I don't blame people for leaving when Thess left. Hell I left and I felt really attached to CT, I even found that I couldn't continue playing w/o them. But there wasn't really a CT left to stay with if you were privy to the inside info. I think that's the problem most people who place blame on those who left that day.....they weren't on enough the previous 6 months to have all the info needed, not only info from raids but also things people told you via private tells.

-------------------------------------------

Drewon, you forgot Pylix in your list of rangers BTW...hehe.
--------------------------------------------

P.S. Give Leyor a break, he isn't as bad as you make him out to be. I only dealt with him a few times, but I do know he isn't evil (although he might like the cock, I never asked about his sexual preferences).
