The only reason that was stated is because it's one thing to flame an anonymous persons avatar on a computer game, as most people don't take that personally. There's no need for anyone to point and laugh at someone's real picture though. It's more of a request than a rule, however. I figured most people would be mature enough and sensible enough to respect it, and everyone was until Baty came along.
