Rebels of le Pal --left two days later, followed by Feudal Lords with Hova, a mage who ended up living 15 miles from me. I then joined Keepers of Life in the era where it took 3 groups to hold chef in sebilis. Stayed with them for 3 years and finally joined PD in December 2002.
miir and I are best friends.

First guild was Deaths Avengers...
I think the only people to make it to level 60 out of that guild was me, Kenvain, Talonhar, and Doofy. I remember running into zones at level 25ish doing mass guild invites to try to get some more people into the guild to go do raids. But the only thing I did was invite a bunch of retards, casual players, and alternates. I eventually left when I was level 49, and everyone else was under 30 and still retarded with exception of 2 or three players.

Wow another Lord of Chaos. That was my first guild also, I joined late in 1999. I don't remember your name among the old lords it was quite a long time ago. Actually the guild lasted for quite a while after the server split, but it really wasn't ever the same. I was pretty low level when the split happened but stayed on Veeshan. The guild did survive for quite a while after Relic, Xuilidar, etc left. Houngan was the leader for a long time, then eventually he retired which is when I left the guild and joined KoE. Lords of Chaos survived for a while after that but it was basically a noob guild with a couple cool people in it.Zamtuk wrote:Lords of Chaos. It was decent back in May of 1999 with a few level 50's but most of them as I recall went to Saryrn. I think that was the last day of the guild, because everyone was going typing /switch but me so I deguilded. As for the people I can only remember a few; Kiler, Sparty(!), and umm, that's all I can remember. I had a few friends in Dragon Lords of Norrath, but I never went over. Anyone from there remember Happlo?

Oh yeah, that was his name, Xuilidar, he almost got me to go to Saryrn. I remember Houngan vaguely, and Relic was the leader at the time I joined, in fact he was the one who invited me. I remember I hunted with Vamdar a lot, and went to The Companions with him shortly after. (READ: THE Companions not Companions) Also I remember one time logging in and I was in Rebels of Le Pal some how, but I was never invited nor accepted to be in. I said "who the fuck are all these new people in the guild?" And they said, "WTF who are you?" Never knew what the fuck that was about. What was your name back then? I also played my alt, Debo sometimes. If they are still around I may have a mule in that guild still, that I haven't played in years.

I started in Circle of Legends back in december of '99 on the Bristlebane server. My brother was in the guild and was able to get me in as well. I remember he borrowed like 1000pp from a few of the members to buy my SK, Telal, a Dark Reaver. Man that thing was nice at the time. I thought I was hot stuff too, when I hit level 30 and that thing started to proc. Aaaahhh memories.

First Guild Unshakeable Kingdom joined at lvl 8 with my then main Alyka a mage became an officer about a month later when i was in my lvl 30's. Was in the guild until I was level 55 then it was disbanded by the guild leader who had a fit
Then formed my own guild with some friends Sanctus Aemilius and then switched my cleric Valkeria to my main stayed as co leader of sanctus until i was lvl 59 on her then left due to differences in council and joined Legacy of Virtues. And no longer in LoV
UK and SA were both allied with WOV (great bunch of people and a nice family guild I do agree)

Yep, I still remember a couple of instances. First was in Dalnir (sp) Canoe the fearless druid leads me Hammer Humfrey and Kilrain?Canoe wrote:damn this is a great thread!
Humfrey!! Come back!!!
Toke/kilrain/hammer - Miss the days when the game was fun as hell and simple eh?
SCGOW - can't imagine it ever making it to the end game - but damn it was fun while it lasted.
I tell ya some of the greatest fun i ever had in this game was getting whiped in runnyeye with these guys 3+ years ago and having a paladin that ran Pheonix Trading Company (drolgins original guild) bail us out time after time after time.
Almost wish i could go back to those days sometimes
Canoe: Come on guys I know what I am doing. Follow me.
Humfrey: I am scared
Hammer: Toke get gate loaded, I have seen Canoe in action.
Canoe: Trust me the basement is cake.
Kilrain: Canoe where the hell are you going?
Canoe: Don't worry I will be right back.
Canoe runs off down the hallway. HP bar starts to drop dramatically.
Hammer: Uh Oh.
Toke: Ummmm
Kilrain: here we go again.
Humfrey: Doh
Canoe comes charging back to the group with umpteen mobs on him.
LOADING PLEASE WAIT
Canoe: Dunno what happened
Hammer: ok whats the plan.
Humfrey: this is really bad.
Kilrain: What do you mean you don't know what happened, you killed us again Ghege, lool.
Toke: Hrmmm, lets ask KoE for help HAHAHAHA.
Kilrain: Again?
Hammer: I can see it now, "Umm Rizz, we are dead in the uber zone of Dalnir can you send a raid force to save us from Canoe?
Humfrey: Bwahaha
Canoe: FU guys hahaha
Anyhow this was typical of our fearless leader back in the day and always a ton of fun.

Ditto, started with them not too long after UO release. Though I never really got anywhere in UO, other than being the pimp for the mangina strippers Xouqoa and Lohrno.Xouqoa wrote:My first guild in EQ was Silver Dragons of the Horadrim, which was a carry over guild from UO, which was a carry over guild from Diablo. Same guild leader and all.. wonder what happened to him. And yes, I am 0ld sk00l.
They did a merge with another guild, though I cannot recall the name atm.

My first time meeting you I was with Hasidim and Bravn, you were assigned by Tagad to pull for us in Oasis, we were like level 10 or 12 and you pulled a deepwater croc....... we died

First guild was Outriders of Karana as Adel mentioned. Then formed Riders of Twilight, where I played my warrior Raxgar. Now I just annoy people on the current events forum
. Haven't played EQ in like a year or so. Still talk to my old guild mates like Faerin, Tagad and others.

Think the first guild I wanted to be in was Travellers of Veeshan. I was a mighty level 7 on the first account I owned.
Didn't get in, formed up RoughRiders with Llaine and friends.
No idea whatever happened to Travellers. Never hear about them anymore.
Started guiding after that and did my best to break as many rules as possible. Graduated to senior guide and used to run around turning people into Ogres in South Karana, or gnomes in guk. "This is my boom stick! *boom* Another gnome is born.." Ah, those were the days. Then came sparkle swords and learning the knowledge of the ass that is known as Jeff Butler. All you Rathe, Saryn and Luclin people, we had fun.
BTW: There is no name cooler in EQ than shouting.. Wahoooooooooka to the zone. That always made my night. Never even met the person. Just loved to shout that. Wahooooooooooooooooooooka!

Here's one that's not listed! My first guild was Elders of Wisdom. That's where I met Drolgin, Stumpyy and Bagfra (the danish crew). Met a good friend (Kaleic) somewhere around level 10 or so when I was afraid to leave Lfay.
In the end, I landed where I belong, with a great group of people and a ton of friends (who certainly know how to be loud and obnoxious) when we gather each year IRL!
