Rage Veeshan. You had to be an uber lvl 10 to join, heh.

We used to run through zones shouting "RAGE ON!" when we would see another guildmate. Really started pissing people off, LOL. Most of Rage left for Saryrn when the server split.

First guild event I participated in was helping to camp the PGT ledge, SO UBER!!

Anyone remeber the name of that shield that dropped on the PGT ledge?

My stating I joined at release, we were all level 1, when I left level 12 was the second highest in the guild, I think I was just answering the question this thread is based on.
I don't like cock at all. I just get sick of you acting like a pompous ass in 95% of every post you make here.

Nice of you not to quote the whole thing you wrote. What you quoted is fine and no big deal, but of course the awesome and all powerful pilsbury has to go on to say:
Everyone was poor then, all the people in the guild kept asking me for money and items for thier twinks, when your level 6 on your primary...you don't need a twink.
Everyone wanted a piece of teh citra cause teh citra was so 1337. Get over yourself.

My first guild was Wayfarers of Veeshan. Some people that I'd been hanging around with for a few days had decided to form a guild, so I joined. I can't remember if I was one of the first 10 that sat in chat and helped form it, but I think I was.

That was a great guild. It's funny to me to see people I remember being tagged Wayfarers in other guilds now.

United We Stand. I still cherish a lot of good memories from my newbie days there. When I last checked UWS is still around, but I hardly see anyone online anymore, and once in a blue moon when I do, I don't recognize any of them, hehe.

Feudal Lords.. i had to be level 15 to join and i had some RL friends in the guild..

Rikk was the guildleader and Shortae was an officer.. I remember my first trip to Ill Omen and making that spider run the first time.

I met Qydar who was a uber 25 Wizard at the time who came over to help us make the run. levels 15-30 was some of the most fun i've ever had.

Feudal Lords eventually dissolved and became Lords of Rage where shortly after i became the guildleader.

First guild was with Marbus and Etain camping the CHarred Guardian Shield. Crimson Guard ... which merged with Obsidian Overlords and became Obsidian Guard.

Left the game years ago and paid for half of my reception with my character.

I now have permission from the wife for EQII. Saving the pennies of a new box and hoping to see some olds friends.

first guilds/char

Post by neeferio »

My first guild my first time playing Everquest was Brotherhood of Balance. My character back then was 'Holojen Lupisfury', a young druid indeed.

Once I reached my mid 20's or lower 30's a new guild was being formed called "Keepers of Life", so I said my goodbye's to the Brotherhood and joined up for a while. I played addictively and killed gnomes inside Ak'anon. Later I moved onto quad kiting butcherblock guards for the great experience and insane axes you could sell for I believe around 20-30pp a piece, which back then was pretty nice.

Upon reaching my mid 40's to upper 50's I heard of a guild being formed from various other guilds throughout Veeshan which would be entitled, "Celestial Tomb"... I talked to Bandog and eventually I joined this guild. We raided Kedge, Naggy, Vox,etc... Attempted to break fear... I don't remember breaking fear while I was part of the guild as this character, althought we tried! I had a great time and made it to level 50 with full vermiculated, it was quite fun... As kunark creeped up on me, I had to quit so I could finish school with decent grades and without the distraction of raiding and getting experience.

After finishing school I restarted another character named Neeferio, again a druid; because I enjoyed the class and wanted to level again... I joined a guild named "Shadows of Protection" lead by Glutius, which we had a great time but eventually fell apart... I was guildless for a while after this point when I eventually joined up with Celestial Tomb again until they fell apart... At this point I applied for FoH and have been part of it ever since.

I'm sick of typing so um, I'm done now. Enjoy.

*** My bad, the first character I made was a paladin named "Tankeno"... That was short lived and by level 12 I rerolled to my first druid... That is all...

I joined Order of the Crimson Dragon in late Beta. Lack in recruiting caused much drama. Then I joined KoE which had even more drama until I found Cestus. Thank god for CD. Though Im glad I was in the previous guilds because I met a lot of cool people like Tiglat, Drolgin, Wulf...the list goes on.

Lords of Chaos. It was decent back in May of 1999 with a few level 50's but most of them as I recall went to Saryrn. I think that was the last day of the guild, because everyone was going typing /switch but me so I deguilded. As for the people I can only remember a few; Kiler, Sparty(!), and umm, that's all I can remember. I had a few friends in Dragon Lords of Norrath, but I never went over. Anyone from there remember Happlo?

Gens Concordia at around level 18 or so I think. Small guild, the highest level person was always Oceptus (then Ayia) by about 10-20 levels hehe. Then went to Ook til it folded and formed Corps after that.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .

Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."

Kaelin Spiritstorm:

Was guildless for a while when game first came out and then I was invited to join Aradani, which at the time was led by Farimir...I did so from about level 15-30....

When Aradani basically flopped, I ended up joining Fellowship of Peace, which at the time was being led by Aruman, although it ended up flopping shortly after too lol...but luckily the reason Fellowship of Peace flopped was to merge with a few other guilds to create CT...I was with CT with Kaelin from low 30s till I was level 48...

I quit for about 6 months after I hit level 48, pre-kunark...but once kunark came out I was attracted back to the game and I came back and made Fesuni..

Fesuni Chopsui:

I was with CT from level 1 to level 50...I had made a bet with Xanupox that I would make level 50 in 30 days, he still owes me money!!!

Soon my differences with Xanu and certain other officers in CT pushed me away from CT and I found myself floating around, I hung out with Sceptered Isle for a while but eventually I found my footing with my old friend Moogy in his guild Obsidian Guard...I was with OG on and off from level 52 till I was level 62...in between that time I had joined PD for about 6 or 8 months etc...when I hit level 62 I left OG in search of something better, as it was obvious that OG was dead....I finally ended up in Primus Exodus...to which I am still a member and have been for last 7 months

Well my first guild you can say was CT. I was waiting outside Guk with Taelan(newf) and apperantly Taelan got a CT officer over to guild invite me, think i was lvl 35ish or something. I clicked accept button and was overwhelmed with Hellos and whatnot and just as soon i was invited i got a "You have been removed from Celestial Tomb" thingie message. I was crushed  .

But not long after with a bunch of Newfs at A&W ( Kavden, Taelan/Naomn, Lynxe, Asmadas, Taqmar and Narmgarf and me, I believe) were chatting and Kavden says I should join some sort of guild, (being lvl 48ish at the time), so I can get use to being in a Guild. Well when I get home from A&W and log in just outside the Hole I get a tell from Lynxe asking me where I was. 5minutes later shes there and I have a guild invite for Knights of Force on my screen, what a hottie that Lynxe is :!:

My first guild was Innrion Empire. I was tagged by a level 12 cleric in banded armor named Xanupox :) Left empire and helped make AoF with, which then became CT. I was CT until the last day when everyone went their own ways, and still have 1 character tagged CT to hold onto the guild name.

Small Chaotic Gods of War for me. It was by far the most fun I ever had while playing EQ. My fondest memory would have to be convincing my guildmates I knew where I was going leading them through Mistmoore, only to accidentally walk through a false wall to be leveled instantly by that Troll SK's harmtouch. We had a good laugh for days about that. I know you fools that were there remember that.

Crimson Guard was my first guild. I believe the founding members (or, at least many of the early members) were fellow members of my rocket arena team (Kablooie!). It took me 6+ months, but I finally did follow them to Everquest. :)

That was the best. Most fun I ever had in EQ. Nothing beats slaying paladins.

My first guild in EQ was Silver Dragons of the Horadrim, which was a carry over guild from UO, which was a carry over guild from Diablo. Same guild leader and all.. wonder what happened to him. And yes, I am 0ld sk00l.

Toke/kilrain/hammer - Miss the days when the game was fun as hell and simple eh?

SCGOW - can't imagine it ever making it to the end game - but damn it was fun while it lasted.

I tell ya some of the greatest fun i ever had in this game was getting whiped in runnyeye with these guys 3+ years ago and having a paladin that ran Pheonix Trading Company (drolgins original guild) bail us out time after time after time.

Almost wish i could go back to those days sometimes :)

I started playing a Wood Elf Ranger called Riddle Methis. The first guild she joined I honestly don't remember. I logged in one day and I had been disbanded  It was back around this time I met a paladin named Sumakin.

The first guild I remember joining was "Innoruuks Hidden Ones" lead by Hykros (sp?). I joined because my friend Beat was in it, and later Narmgarf (newf) and Zoggmak(newf) joined as well. I was there I created the Dark Elf Wizard "Lynxe" who become my primary.

About 9 months later we met a crazy bunch from "Kansas City" all with the last name "Soggybiscuits". We had so much fun with them that we left IHO and join them in "Knights of Force". I still remember Peacedog Graveytrain guild-inviting me on a bank in the Dreadlands where we were hunting Giants. At the time, Elfwind was the leader. He later passed the reigns to Uggums and the last leader was Fynris. Later Polvara(newf) Taqmar(newf), Sneg(newf) and Asmadas(newf) also joined KoF bringing the newf count to 7. Around this time Sumakin was playing a cleric named Dandilla, and after almost 2 years of handing out together we discovered we lived 15mins from each other.

I remember watching planes hit the World Trade Center towers on televisions just 2 days before a few of us Newfs were flying to meet the Soggybiscuits in Kansas. :vv_sad:

I left KoF as a burned out officer towards the end of 2002. I joined Celestial Tomb for a short time because that is where 90% of all the other newfs were and a bunch of friends. When they all left about 30 days later, I left with them. I went Guildless for a few months and I really enjoyed it. When it got old I spoke to a few folks about Guilds and even tossed around a couple of applications. I settled in as a recruit for Cestus Dei and though it took some time, it is the happiest I've been in EQ since the Soggybiscuits still actively played. \:D/

What ever happened to Crav? I know he parked his Ranger at like level 50-53 or so and started what I think was a Warrior, but I could be wrong.

So Crav, where are you?
