The only reason I'm asking is because of ad on TV that says one in three drivers that are charged with reckless driving test positive for marijuana. I only think they tested positive because it stays in your system for about a month.

That is, one in three reckless drivers drivers tested for drug use tested positive for pot.

1) There was likely probable cause for the drug test in the first place in each case
2) These results are not surprising when you take into account that pot is much, MUCH more prevalent over other drugs.

In short, it is a completely useless statistic in the manner which they are attempting to apply it.

I used to smoke quite a bit when I was younger. Then I had a "fun" experience where I was convinced that the reason two of my best friends had gone into the kitchen was to devise a plan to kill me.

Thank God I gathered enough sense to leave the house; my next thought would have been to find something to defend myself with.

Given the choice I wish all my friends would choose pot over alcohol.

While I may not indulge, pot is a better drug of choice, no physical craving, no chance of overdose, and people who are high on pot are better human beings than those drunk on alcohol.

One in three drivers involved in wreckless driving, tested for drug use, used pot. Ok How many drivers are accused of wreckless driving? of those how many are BLOOD tested, meaning they were so damn out of it that a breathalizer wouldn't do the trick. OMFG of those, 1 in 3 had smoked pot in the past 30 DAYS, not while driving, not an hour before driving, but 30 DAYS before driving. Welcome to media manipulation 101 folks. Twist a fact and say it enough, people will beleive you. I am going to refrain from a Bush saying we already found WOMD's comment here.

Ohhh and btw, I couldn't fill out the poll, smoked pot for 20 years... most of that over an eighth a day. Coming up on 4 years with no dope of any sort

Used to smoke it often when i was younger too, then i became epileptic and the drugs made me dopey enough so i haven't smoke it in maybe 8 or 9 years. Won't ever start again either. I like the natural highs in life

i was a big pothead in college. every day we got baked at least once or 5 times, who fucking knows, i sure as hell dont.

i dont smoke anymore because of the way it irritates my lungs when i do.

i feel like shit the day after as well because of the above.

its a pain in the ass to get drugs from somebody when you dont regularly use them as well. You cant be confident about the quality, bla bla. the whole sketchiness of the transaction with somebody you dont have a solid client relationship with as well

though a bong hit is exactly what this hangover needs LOL
