Rubies of Eventide?

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

Rubies of Eventide?

Post by Animalor »

Anyone else ever hear about this? New MMORPG that just went live today..

I just read about it on gamespot and was wondering if any of you had tried it. From the screenshots, I'd say the game looks like a DaoC rehash with AC2 world.

Anyone here played it and have any comments to make about the game?

I played a pre-release version of this at Gencon the year before last. It was crap then, and I suspect it hasn't gotten any better.

I played it in March. It's like someone ate DAOC and a can full of corn and shit it out. Eventide is corn-filled shitty DAOC with 29348394 classes (good luck balancing) and shit for content.

I was in on beta on this big steaming pile o crap. It is amazing that just about nothing has changed from beta to live. No skills, gazillion classes and the only ones worth playing are tanks. Absolutely NO content, NPCs for quests are only partially implemented.

I bet if FoH posted an endorsement for this game on their website, this game would have a couple thousand fanbois in the drop of a hat.

No, WOW has fanbois because it actualy looks promising, and Blizzard is a well known name as is the warcraft series.

I'm surprised I haven't heard more about Final Fanstasy XI....it's a MMORPG and I think due out about same time as WOW.....that's a well known franchise also...although I think WOW looks better. I think that might be because it's mainly a PS2 game (although there will be a PC version).

You can get a little info about FFXI here
