Ok here goes...
First off i have this cable ISP. I live with my dad and we both have our own personalized e-mails. Now what i don't understand is the fact that i get all his e-mails or he gets all my e-mails. (Depending on who accesses the accounts first)
I thought that even though we were on the same user account that they could actually cluster the boxes and he would get his own mail and i would get my own mail.
How hard can it be to make the server look for what e-mail address is the mail being asked for? Is it me who is ahead of time and no such thing exist and familys with 5 e-mails accounts on the same ISP get bulk e-mail for all 5 accounts whoever is first to open up his e-mail program and request the mail from the server?
Thanks...

Isn't the server...It only sends mail it is asked for...
Here's what to do...
1) verify that you have 5 email accounts (with 5 usernames and 5 passwords) not just 5 addresses...some ISPs point all addresses to one account
2) If using Outlook Express create a different identity for each person in the File/Identities menu put your accounts under your identity his accounts under his identity...then OE will only check the account(s) under the identity you specify when it checks...It will also create different inboxes for each identity (so you only see your email he only sees his etc)
3) A simpler solution is to choose a different email program for your account(s)*cough Eudora cough* and set yours up in that program. Be sure and delete your account from the current program
4) If you are using Netscape (seek professional help) to check your mail, create seperate user profiles for each user and put their accounts under their profiles.
5) RTFM

That's the problem the bastards have it all on the same username and password.
So that's why it sends it to the username.
I'm not a pro but i know some about how this all work but maybe because of that i'm just expecting too much out of this system..
I just thought that for 1 username that had multiple e-mails it could know the difference..
I am using Outlook 2000 and my dad has Outlook XP he has his own e-mail address and i have my own but we are on the same username and password.

1) Only 1 username/password
2)I'm Using Outlook and i know how it works. i also know how to create multiple profiles but since they reside on the server under the same user name i guess i'm screwed and so the first person to open up his Outlook will get the mail for that username. wich is the mail for all the e-mail accounts.
3)I used to use eudora but outlook does the trick anyways.
4)I despise Netscape
5)I prefer to press F1.
Thanks
