Night Person or Morning Person?

Post by Lalanae »

I hate morning people with their chipper attitudes. A hearty happy "Good Morning!!!" makes me want to smack the person who says it. WTF is so good about it?

So are you one of those annoying twits that bounce into work everyday or are you most happy at night?

Night by far. I'm a zombie in the morning, just enough brainpower going to get myself ready and drive to school.

God morning rush hour sucks, especially with construction.

Ok I'm going off on a tangent. I hate being awake in the morning, except when I'm out late and don't get home 'til 4am type situations. :P

Night owl for sure. I can be tired all fucking day and when bed time rolls around I'm wide awake. ><

I also usually don't do so well at getting up before 9:30 or so.

good thing about the early morning is taking the waverunner out

you eat lunch at 3, eat dinner at 11ish go to bed around 4 and wake up at 10 30ish to go to work

My internal clock says I need to sleep from 4am-noon.

Although I can function in the morning, I dislike going to bed earlier than 2am....getting up earlier then 6am usually makes me feel worn down and sometimes nausous all day.

All my brothers are night people....Zergs, Claritin, Scrimps, Scrimpy...my dad is a morning person he goes to bed like 9-10pm and gets up at 4 when he works at like 8...we consider him mentally challenged.

Man noon to 8 jobs blow, they take up the entire day. Getting up at 8 may suck for you, but at least you still have some daylight to go do something when the workday is done.

The noon to eight shift is the shit. To get up at 10 and have 2 hours before the shift starts is fucking sweet. Also, to be able to party on weeknights and still have enough time to sleep off the alcohol and shame before work is key.

I am a night person..

All day at work i'll be tired (8-4 shifts kill me) and once i get home ill be awake like a squirrel who drank 1 liter of cofee.

Maybe thats because i smoke cigarettes, drink too much pepsi and smoke weed.. *shrug*

Waking up at 6 am blows. 12 to 8 shifts blows so there is no middle.

The solution:

Having money enter the bank account while doing nothing else but having fun. (games, party, snowboard, skateboard, movies all that stuff)

That way id get to go to bed when i want and wake up when i want. Although i tend to hate waking up too late since i loose OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of time for the day that i oversleep.

I'd snooze from 6am till noon if I could each day!

I show up to work around 8:30-9am but the first signs of life from me are around 11am after lots of coffee. I think I've been on time to work once in the past few months. hehe.

I'm late for work practically every day too. If I have an early morning meeting I manage to get to work on time, but when you have only 3-6 hours worth of work to do, why not take that extra 15 minutes of precious beautiful sleep?

I was raised a night person, resulting from my dad's late working hours.. My bedtime at age 10 was usually midnight. Nowdays, I usually am in bed by 2:00 and read until 3:30-4:00. Scary.

You know, mentioning your dad reminded me that staying up late (especially in the summers) with my dad & little sister (both horrible insomniacs like me) was some of the best bonding times. We would watch late night TV together (Benny Hill & Twilight Zone were our favs) without having to worry about mom bitching at our "stupid shows."

I am a total night person. I just get like a burst of energy around 11 or so and I end up getting to bed at like 2 or 3...or 6 =p. I am the worst person at waking up, I have missed a lot of important things because I just donot get out of bed. I cant even control it, ugh.

Been a night person since I was like 12 years old, even back when I was in school it was rare for me to go to sleep before 4AM. Now I work a 12 hour 6PM-6AM shift and love it. Night shifts rule if your not the boss, because 90% of businesses the boss isn't there on nights.

I used to be a night person... when I was 18 and thought being goth was cool. Now I much prefer being up in the mornings and feeling like I have the whole day ahead of me. Oddly enough, I found I get much more accomplished. Generally speaking, everything closes at 10 pm - after that all there's left to do is stay at home and find something to keep you entertained.

Not sure what this am stuff and morning stuff is. 6pm is about the time I eat dinner and 6pm (am to crazy people with this notion of morning) is what time I go to bed. I figure it's still an early evening somewhere in the world. I might as well be awake for it.
