my boss is okay with us being on the web because frankly our jobs are pretty damned boring.. and involve many hours of sitting around waiting for someone's PC to break.

No, its not NWS imo, and I also don't think (God help me) that your avatar is NWS. I think its tacky in a 50-yr old trucker sorta way but not big enough to be noticable.
