Mail Order Internet Stores

Post by Winnow »

I've had 100 percent success ordering electronics and computer equipement via the internet. The prices are the best and there's no tax. I even ordered my HDTV rear screen projection TV mail order with no problems.

The two Internet sites I can recommend are:

Newegg.com http://www.newegg.com/

They are excellent with items in stock, great prices and fast shipping for computer related products.

One Call http://www.onecall.com/

Oustanding for electronic equipent. I've purchased a Big Screen TV, Receivers, DVD Players, etc from them all with timely shipping and good prices.

What other internet stores have been good to you out there?

I really just wanted to use the bold command in one of my posts

Actually I was looking into this for a tv I plan to get in August. So far the plans are for a 55'+ screen HDTV for the new place I will be moving into. I'm fairly certain of the kind and what not, I just have a question on this. What are the delivery arrangements? (especially for something of this magnitude)

I seem to remember the mainframe code for the Best Buy service plans used to be something like SUKR about 10 years ago.

I have actually been pricing some parts to rebuild my older comp on NewEgg, and I did not beleive the prices I was seeing until other people verified them...hehe.

I got a Best Buy credit card once, and I can say that is fucking ghey and wrong. I went crazy last summer, buying surround sound, ps2, games and the such. I got the bad boy half way paid off, (at the time there was no interest what so ever...I thought) then the delayed interest kicked in and re-maxed it out. Apparently what they do, in order for you to buy more is to say, no interest for 6 months. What they mean is you won't pay it for 6 months, but unless it's paid off, you owe all the interest that should have been on there after said time. So I paid it off, called them up and gave them a hearty fuck you, then cancelled it.

Fucking bullshit I declare.

That would be like asking FedEx to deliver your package to the bedroom. It's not their job : ) I'm sure if you asked the delivery guy nicely or shoved a 20.00 in his plumber's crack, you'd receive some help getting the TV through your front door.
