For you ubar AE pullers..
Any advice for someone that's feeling he's not living up to all he can be?

Akaran of Mistmoore, formerly Akaran of Veeshan
I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

Depending on where we are, we often have the wizards pull along with the MT. Though, getting stunned or rooted as a wiz pretty much = death
If it's too tough an area for the wizards to pull, have the tank pull twice. If you have two chanters, they should be able to keep the first pull stunned while the tank gets some more mobs. You can go for three pulls if you still aren't happy, but you're asking for trouble

As a druid, I have AE pulled many, many times. I mem burst of flame since it's cast time is only 1.5 seconds and pull with that.
Before I go off, I have as many HP/AC buffs as are available. I then get a Nature's Recovery (900 HP in 3 minute regen). I invis up and head as far away as I intend to pull. Then, I cast Burst of Flame, uninvising myself, and run like hell right past everything I can. I get tagged many times, but spells are never really an issue thanks to CoS and MR. However, being a druid, I indeed take some dmg. As soon as I am within range of the cleric, I have a complete heal cast on me. I have only ever died once or twice as the AE puller, and those mistakes were my own fault (ie: trying to run past undead with improved superior camo). My best AE pull was in Chardok with 34 kills. I call that my best simply because there are an awful lot of twists and turns, undead, and casters in Chardok. The highest number I have pulled is 41 and that was in Luclin.
I mem my 2 PBAOE spells and have my Hierophant's crook rdy to equip after pull. When the chanter starts stunning, I can contribute a great deal to the AoE death dealing, especially with haste. This is why tanks simply do not make the best pullers for AE groups. When they actually get back to the group, they contribute very little.
The keys are:
High resists (situational)
High regen
Invis
Fast, long distance attack spell or item
Actually contributing to the AE is a huge bonus
GL and have fun.

Personally I hate the deep... that mob AI fucking sucks... I much prefer places like the hole or FG.... much easier pulls and 40+ AE's are common. Of course they are both roaving zones where you pull, move, then pull again.... I guess some people just dont like that..
This 2cp has been brought to you by DOKURANGER!
Best AE puller I saw was once in Acrylia pre nerf. We were the only group in the zone and Sleestakk would get buffed up and pull every room. He had a hell of a lot of HP and when he returned, he did contribute to the kills. He used a sword that does rampage. Not sure if it is a proc or constant effect. In AE, hitting every mob by rampage helped.
I also remember Slee pulling from cook to zone out in sebilis. Rebuff and then pull from disco 2 to zone out.
A warrior can contribute, but needs the correct equipment.
