I don't see why Monkly business is all excited and angry...
All they did was alow people to access thier spell book another way and provide descriptions people could research on the net in 30 secs anyway.
Shit spell descriptions should have been in the instruction book...if your an enchanter you already know why you learned mez, the skill part is knowing when to cast it etc....
I personally feel the new menu system is probably just eye candy, I'd probably use my spell book if I still played because I could organize it the way I wanted and have all my 16 or so most used spells on the first pages...that's easier then selecting each one from a series of menus.
But the spell descriptions would have been real nice.....I mean I always knew what they did...I would read the dat file or spoiler sites. Or in the beginning, just cast the damn thng a couple times and note the effect....but I shouldn't have had to....that wasn't player skill...that was me compensating for lack of a decent instruction manual.

Why would it get you angry? : ) There's no reason to stop using the old method if you prefer it.Ennia wrote:I have mixed feelings about this, sure it's a matter of time and getting used to it but first few days/weeks may get me really angry
Example:
After Gaklek kills me on a raid, I will use my spell book to quickly load my 8 standard spells. At other times, if someone wants a buff or I need to load a DOT that I don't have mem'd, I'll use this new method of quickly rotating spells out of my 2 spell swap slots.
Seems like a win win situation to me.
This is the Bomb for all shamman...
No more where did I put that obscure buff this lillte wanker is asking for. hell i cant even spell ixablatfearmyass much less find it.
/tell Dweeb sorry i must have deleted that spell since it was rarely used, Sorry cant be of more assistance.
Note to self:
Next time put your shield of bane warding and runed spear in backpack and wield your jagged ice shard so you look like a rogue.
