Hockey is the best sport EVER.
I can't believe that the Wild came back from a 3 game deficit TWICE in the same playoffs.
Yeah it sucks for Vancouver though. They are my team but damn if they don't have a reputation for fucking up huge leads. Oh well, niether Vancouver nor Minnesota have a snowball's chance if hell of beating the Disney Dollarsigns or whatever the fuck they're called.
Plus they are going to be beat to shit after two seven game series in a row. That much hockey will suck the life out of just about anyone.

It wasn't really an upset if you are a Canucks fan. I love them to death but basically everyone in Vancouver was just waiting for them to choke and fail.
Although I guess they didn't technically choke. Vancouver played their fucking asses off and I have rarely seen them play as hard as I did tonight, yet they still lost.

I don't know, I think when the Canucks scored with 1.2 seconds left in the game early in the series, then won it in overtime, I was pretty sure that would kill the Wild's morale outright. Canucks are a tough team...fin Bertuzzi, god he was a pain in the crease.
Even with the hot goaltender, I just don't think Anahiem will stop Minnesota.

I said that about Detroit.. and Dallas. I'm hesitant to say it again. I don't know who will win, since both are such a suprise to have made it this far. But I will enjoy watching!Toshira wrote:Even with the hot goaltender, I just don't think Anahiem will stop Minnesota.

True Xoq. It's not that I don't understand the rules...I just haven't been able to gain an appreciation for the sport at all. I have tried numerous times, but to no avail.Xouqoa wrote:Just cause you don't understand the rules doesn't mean it sucks.Midnyte_Ragebringer wrote:Hockey suxors to the enth degree
I think it would be a much more enjoyable sport to watch if they put the net back inside the wall and maybe widened it a smidge.
Just my two copper

ROFL someone from a soccer fan nation calling hockey boring... gotta love the ironyDenmark was in the world cup and i tried to watch it, but it was just too boring really.

And Brittney may know Haiku, but he don't know sports!

You know, you'd make a good Red Sox fan.kyoukan wrote:It wasn't really an upset if you are a Canucks fan. I love them to death but basically everyone in Vancouver was just waiting for them to choke and fail.

It's tough to gain an appreciation of hockey by just watching it on TV (there are exceptions, of course, like, say, being a young New England boy watching Bobby Orr - then it works just fine

I agree with Post Topic, but add this little to it. There is absolutely no Game that you can watch up close (sport wise) that is more intense, more riveting, more seat clearing than Hockey. My favorite game that I was able to watch was the Phoenix Coyotes vs. Detroit Red Wings, 2nd game of first round back in 1999(I think that's the year hehe). We had 9th row seats. Phoenix goes down by 2 quick goals in the first period, but rallies back in the 2nd and third period to pull out a squeeker 3-2 Victory. What a blast! And as for my favorite Televised game, it would have to be the Phoenix Coyotes vs. Los Angeles Kings. We lost this game, but the Coyotes put on a show, especially my Favorite player of all time Dallas Drake (I still remember this hit, he ramed this guy into the glass and you see a Fan Jump and cheer right behind the glass, very classic). I will forever hate Luc Robitaille cuz of this game =)
