Stp/GnR

Post by Elidain »

Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland has confirmed that he will be the new frontman for Reloaded, the new group comprised of former members of Guns n' Roses.

Wonder how this will turn out and if this is the end of STP?

Heroin boy meets 80s hair rock. Interesting... well, not really, but I am sure they will follow in the great big steps of Great White and all... :P

Can't sound any worse than they did with Axl Rose singing.

Good point Xou. But I am sure it will be close... My best guess is it will be some kind of quasi grunge "Look at me with short hair" thing. Sorta like what Metallica tried to do when they got really shitty.

I always thought GNR would have been good if they would have ax'd axl.

Slash is a hell of a guitar player...will be interesting to see what comes out of it!

"Appetite" was one of the best studio albums ever made, and "Lies" was pretty good as well. The live stuff on "Lies" led me to believe that they would kick ass in concert. WORST. SHOW. EVAR.

The only way to fuck up worse than in front of 60K+ people is to do it when Metallica is your following act. They not only came on early after GnR basically got booed off stage, but played a super extended set.
