i like the font that Drudge uses to make his pages look like newsprint, presumably in an effort to lend them an air journalistic authenticity.

Hehe, Matt Drudge is becoming more of a gossip monger than a journalist the last year or so, but he gets more scoops than a lot of huge news corporations and he is right quite a bit more often than he is not.

I go to his site quite a bit because independant journalism is so scarce lately.

If you were even a tiny bit smarter than you actually are I would think you are joking.

You do know that Drudge became famous by breaking the Monica/Clinton scandal...right? He's always had a mix of gossip/real news. Quoting your best pal (and this quote is from 1999):

Rush Limbaugh: "Matt Drudge is the man who is to the Internet, what I am to broadcasting."

Drudge report is a good source of news you don't get anywhere else, and the gossip stuff is usually semi-interesting.

Yes and the sky is blue and the sun will rise tomorrow and you are a stupid fuck head. We can spend all day spewing obvious truths and proven scientific facts if you want. My point was his own articles are almost always gossip mongering now and not as much real news.

If you still need help in understanding I can probably engrave it onto a frying pan and beat you over the head with it.

No, your point was that drudge has somehow degenerated into what it is today. It was always like this, there's no "now" or "last year or so."

if anything he sure as hell knows how to market, now he gets a bigger audience becouse people will say "Michael Moor, that idiot from the academy awards...is making ANOTHER stupid film, hes so dumb, i have to go pay money and see his new film!" so hes just screwing everyone over
