Stromm Server

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

Stromm Server

Post by Korell »

Everyones opinion?

Very interesting. Really like the idea of a non-corruption economy. No moving plat or items over. Only problem is.. atm, there are about 100+ people in every newb zone trying to lvl up. Kinda makes it a clusterfuck.

I voted Stromm ^^

And yeah, best wait a few weeks to create a character. There are on average 200+ in gfay at any given time.

for a reason I myself don't understand I always make a character on new server, they never have a chance to be played past day one but it's a fun day.
there is something hillarious about hundreds of newbies attacking every rat in sight and hundres of corpses around

in case of Stromm I cheated a bit, created a halfling and thanks to PoK moved her to WFP (lots more mobs, rotting corpses waiting to be looted) few plaque rat tails later I was 5pp rich!! then off to everfrost we go where wolf skins aren't as popular since barbs don't wear small armor.
30 minutes later I was almost in full patchwork/cloth with an rusty scimitar in my hand. That's an uber lvl 3 ranger for you :)

Very nice Ennai.. and btw, its not cheating.

I just.. uh.. "lost" my main/orig char, so im kinda looking to restart. But damn.. restarting without any economy or plat is harsh. Cant even afford my spells for my tag team DE necro/chanter/wizard. And yeah, im moving far far away from the mass newb zones. Cant stand em. Takes forever to get a mob. And the ones laying around are like lvl5 and a bit hard for a lvl2caster to melee to death.

I started a noob there for the relaxation from hi level raiding and all the bs that accompanies it.

Lvl 6 now, saw a lvl 33 cleric already and that was the highest lvl I could find in game at that time. Spent four hours killing rats and have a new suit of leather armor and 53 plat in the bank, plus I bought all my level 9 spells woot. I am rich !!!

Hehe, I did that on Veeshan, nearly level 55 on my pair of gimps, and still able to stay in cool unused/underused zones. Dunno what I'm going to do 60+, probably start two more :)

Neither one has ever set foot on Kunark, and almost no time in Vellious :D

No PLing, I play them an hour here, hour there. I don't think either char has ever been on for more than 2 hours straight.

Traveling costs a lot of productive time, I rarely leave wherever I happen to be playing.
