New game days 4 times every real day. This means you get 15 forest fights and 3 player fights every 6 hours. (also if you die you will be resurrected when the next day rolls around.)

a new "day" occurs every 6 hours real time. New turns are granted then.

every 6 hours from when I set up teh game, I think ... look at the game time before you log in, if it is near 12am, new turns are coming soon!
