Summer Concert Season!

Working on compiling a list of summer tour dates. So if you got a particular fest, concert, or whatever...post the name, and if you know it, a link, and sometime this weekend I'll compound it into an easy to read format for everyones.

Local compilation show:

HFStival

Where: RFK Stadium...Washington, D.C.
When: May 24th, 2003
Who: Audioslave, Godsmack, Chevelle, and more.

Yearly multi-day festival show with the usual smaller stage for local bands...I'm sure you know the drill.

Bonnaroo: with such performers as The Dead, Widespread Panic, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, James Brown, The Allman Brothers Band, Sonic Youth, Keller Williams, Yonder Mountain String Band, Medeski, Martin, & Wood, Particle, and many many others.

Mid-Atlantic Music Experience: with such performers as Widespread Panic, moe., Les Claypool's (of Primus) Flying Frog Bridage, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Rusted Root, Leftover Salmon, and many many more.

Phish: Will be going to the Raleigh and Charlotte shows.

The Dead Summer Getaway: Will be going to the show at Merriweather

We got a few others on our plate but those are the definates. We're also looking at going out to Oregon for The String Cheese Incident, but we'll have to see about that one.

Check out Jambase for shows coming to Florida. I live up near DC, so I know dick about the Florida scene. You missed out on String Cheese in Suwannee, FL. Some friends of mine went and had an awesome time. If you can swing it, the moe. cruise looks pretty damn cool, if you can afford it.
