Uh, heaven forbid logic fall in to play here, but if she knows he's cheating on her, why doesn't she just break up with him?

Hacking into someones private emails is pretty low in my books.

http://www.google.com search for keystroke logger

obviously someone with access to his computer will have to install it.. most even let you e-mail the logged keystrokes to another e-mail address so once installed its basically done..

of course i have no knowledge of the legal ramifications of this. As such if she decides to go this course of action and the BF finds out he could possibly nail her for hacking..

of course the easiest thing to do is watch him type in his password when he logs in ( I assume being her BF she spends time at his place of residence )

Amen, proof is good.

Saved me tons on alimony when I busted my ex and had a leg to stand on with some evidence.
Plus it just offers peace of mind KNOWING for sure b/c you know that the majority of the time the offending person in the relationship is gonna deny 100% right into the grave.

Keyloggers are teh win.
Not legal but damned helpful, big thing is what kind of antivirus is he using. If its something thats worth a damn and uptodate then you might have a tough time getting it slipped in unoticed. Saranwrap works nicely if your trying to get it installed on someone elses computer, but since its AOL it will probably be identified before he even opens it.

Good luck.

I'd just give her the $40 back and tell her to figure it out herself.

No shit.. $40 isn't worth getting involved in that mess. Let her commit her own felony! Besides.. it's just a boyfriend and with no legal ramifications involved (most likely), she should just leave him.

If she's suspects he's cheating then:

a) he's cheating
b) she has serious trust issues and their relationship lacks any decent form of communication

either way, the relationship is doomed. Don't get involved. Seriously.

Putting a keystroke logger on someone elses computer is illegal. Putting it on your own is fair game.

I agree though. Don't get involved.

Yeah I guess I forgot the disclaimer. When I did it obviously we were living together and it was MY computer so I was ok.

Be really careful if your taking this trying to hack thing seriously. You could wind up in some serious shit.

Lalanae said it....you can't have a relationship w/o trust...since it's just a boyfriend there is nothing to be gained by doing this.

I'm not sure how you log in to get aol e-mail but I assume it's web based, otherwise you can download a proggie called I think agent 007 or something from download.com that can retreive passwords stored locally on your machine. I use it all the time when I forget my own passwords heh. But it won't work on passwords entered in on web forms...should work if he picks it up PoP using outlook express or something tho.

Dude, don't get involved in this shit.
If she's paying you to find a way to spy on her bf that means their relationship has no trust and is bound to fail anyways.

But then again, it is some easy $$$~

The trick of course is to install the key logger on her PC and get the guy to check his e-mail from her PC.. that is of course up to her to figure that out.. but if she's so suer like others have pointed out just dump the guy.

The trust is already broken either way and can never be fully re-established.. If they were husband and wife though and she needed evidence for a divorce or something that would be different.. but then if the suspicion was that strong she'd hire a PI to follow him.

It would be easier to just follow the guy for a week with a camera.

If this is all over some high school crap love then just wait a couple weeks and it will all blow over and be forgotten. Kids worry too much nowadays sheesh!

I think you have to be pretty low to want to read your boyfriends emails. The relationship cant continue without trust. Since it is just BF / GF stage who cares? Why wouldnt she just move on? Is there a big satisfaction in saying, "HA I knew it you cheating Bastard"

On a side note, you guys know entirely too much about getting passwords and the legal ramifications that might follow. Scary :) I treat my comp like a Nintendo.

Mind your own busniness man. Honestly if she has a problem with the guy and cannot reconcile without spying make her do it herself. For all you know this guy won't appreciate your meddling and may come over and kick your face in. Also don't trust a woman who would stoop this low to keep your name out of the discussion that is sure to follow.

for starters she will tell the guy you helped her. she is a woman, and women like to talk. incessently ( :vv_bolt: ).

she will most likely tell the guy all about it when they are in bed after having some really amazing sex a couple weeks after their initial break up, and now they are back together.

this breakup will be nothing but intricate forplay for them, and the worst part about it, is in the end they both end up hating you.

you are nuts for trying to get involved.

Have her install it, just tell her how to do it so your not going the pipe in the rear if shit goes down. Thats the easiest way.
