It's pretty brutal, but I really don't see the difference between throwing them into a woodchipper or slaughtering them and eating them. Either way the chicken isn't going to be too fucking pleased at the outcome.

I used to work for a tree trimming company... I have hundreds of hours of experience feeding various "tree parts" into these wood chippers... on many occasions I've had a glove ripped off of my hand as the machine grabs hold of a tree limb and literaly sucks the branch in at an incredible speed...

Only a fool would protest this as a means of disposing of diseased chickens...

if any of you have ever seen how insanely fast a wood chipper can ingest, chew up and spit out a tree branch with a 4" diameter you know exactly what I am talking about...

If the issue here is a long, slow, painful and lingering death you had better think again because that machine will cause INSTANT death to any animal that happens to fall into it's grasp.

Those chickens died so fast they didn't have time to cluck out an "Oh Shit"!

I think it's a fast and efficient manner for disposing of diseased animals in an equally humane fashion.

Grats to the guy that thought of using a Chicken Chipper in the first place...

Make ya wander what they are gonna do with a pile containing 30,000 diseased chicken chunks.... and teh stink! heh, I'm glad I don't have to clean the machines.

Haha yeah that's what I was going to say, but McDonalds probably wouldn't be able to afford upping the quality of the chicken they use to buy the chicken chipper parts.

I wonder how desensitized you have to be to be the guy that shoves 30,000 chickens into a tree chipper. That guy is probably the most stoic motherfucker on the planet.

The machines they stick the chickens on to decapitate, exsanguinate, and defeather aren't much less brutal than a chipper.

I really, really don't want to know what this word means, but I've got a pretty good idea.
