Millie,
It seems like you're starting from the premise that what you say, no matter how factual or grounded in reality, will sway your opponents' opinions. There is simply no guarantee of that. In fact, it won't happen. Arguing till you're blue in the face has clearly caused you nothing but grief.
Unfortunately, the only satisfaction you can take away from this message board is that at the end of the day, you know that you're not the stupidest motherfucker ever bred (this statement, although directed at Mille, goes for just about everyone on this board save Searyx). If you're looking to gain anything more out of veeshanvault, then you're in for a long ride.

Millie is leaving because of being flamed? If his account is deleted will I lose the posts I made that quoted something from his posts or anything like that? All im worried about is losing some of my post total here.
My day is ruined! Thanks a lot millie. I sure hope kyoukan doesn't have a touchy feely side and decides to leave.
Who was flaming millie btw? What technique was used for maximum irritation?

I think it's more of being frustrated. Lately there has been far too many anon trolls and idiot pharmers who have to fuck up even some of the more serious threads.Shaerra wrote:I heard it was Guru, and the winning flame was a "Yo mama" crack. Frustration is that waitress at the Benihana lounge. That's a good reason to leave and go to Quarks : ) But the anon trolls here you just ignore!

So true on the first part!
VV has very few "rules", using your in-game name is one of them. I shouldn't have to put the "anon trolls" on ignore, they should be called out or banned right away. Unfortunately, that's not happening anymore.

Guru is an exception to the anon-trolls rule. He'll probably tell you his name if you ask him, anyway. Most people already know, I think.
Winnow, if I delete Millie's account, it won't alter your post count. (I don't think!)

I'll agree to that.I think it's more of being frustrated. Lately there has been far too many anon trolls and idiot pharmers who have to fuck up even some of the more serious threads.
I can't agree with that though. But I'm not the moderator so whatever. It's up to them what sort of board they want to run. If they want every thread, even those trying to discuss serious issues, to go down the toilet just because someone posts something like "/pharm1!1"... Well I guess that's up to them.Guru is an exception to the anon-trolls rule.
I'm not anti-guru or anything but a little restraint would be appreciated at times. And it's more than just one individual.

Agree 100% with both Lali and Aslanna.Aslanna wrote:I'll agree to that.I think it's more of being frustrated. Lately there has been far too many anon trolls and idiot pharmers who have to fuck up even some of the more serious threads.

I completely agree with that. The pharming bs has really gotten out of hand, with specifically 3 people.Aslanna wrote:I can't agree with that though. But I'm not the moderator so whatever. Lali agreed with 50% of my post. There's a lot of agreeing going on here and I want to be part of it!
Xou: I was kidding about the post count. I do find printed millie posts useful though when my avatar isn't available.

Well, if things are getting out of hand with pharming let me know (PM with links and name). I'll speak to the people doing it. I've been quite busy and haven't really been able to keep as close an eye on the board as I normally do for that sort of stuff.
If Guru is endlessly farming, then it needs to stop the same as anyone else. I just meant he's an exception to the anon-name rule since he's ALWAYS been Guru ever since VNBoards.

Yur arl a bunch ofs Roosers.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .
Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."
Dwight Eisenhower
