Last Wednesday, I test drove and bought THIS!!
The thing drives like a dream! Very confortable and, imho, a very slick ride.
Should be taking delivery on it between the 10th and the 13th of April. It's gonna be getting built at the Toyota plant in Cambridge Ontario on
Thursday.
Mah first new car =) So exciting!!

what is that? it looks like a station wagon and an SUV had a child and that is the horrible result.

The dealer described it as a Corolla station wagon(engine and base of the Corolla). It does feel a lot more like a mini SUV though.
Getting maried this summer and planning on starting a family very shortly after that so bought in consequence.
*edit* that and my gf and I really love the car =P

Your fucked if it has the same exhaust though, but that's always cheap to get fixed every 3 months.

i dont know what you are talking about w/ the exhaust.
i have a 99 Corrolla that i got while i was in grad school and that car is perfect from an operational point of view. really nice car for that price.
when my wife's accord goes out, i am thinking about getting a Camry since we have had such a good run w/ my Toyota.

I own a Corolla too, and never had a problem with anything except the exhaust. Everyone I've talked to that had a Corolla has had minor exhaust problems over the years. Nothing major, just something I've always made fun of my car for because it gets loud about every 3 months.

I'm on my 4th Toyota, I drove the first 3 to 150k+ miles with no troubles, #4 is at 118k
Mufflers might be a northern thing, my Dad just replaced the factory exhaust on his 89 Corrola at ~100k miles. (MO)
Congrats, resist the urge to trade it in 2-3 years from now.
