Do you keep your old armor?
A lot of us get extremely uber upgrades (or seemingly extremely uber) at some point in our career. But when you upgrade that piece of equipment, does your old 'uber' item stay with you? If so for how long?
This could apply to a set of thorny vine or even a set of forest stalkers or even luclin items.

I always keep an extra set of no drop gear for CR gear. My droppable stuff either gets handed on or gets sold if noone wants it. Some stuff that my wife can use that I've got has gone from me to her when I got an upgrade.

I keep my old quest armor.. the Skyshrine stuff.
I've got a handful of decent weapons banked too.. ND crap.
I will never use it, but it's there just in case.

But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

I think anyone who was around enough to have done Fear/Hate back before kunark probably keeps a spare set of CR gear, especially given that Dalover/Shyness crew were selling the corpse summon spell for 10k a copy. Back then if you wiped and had no backup gear you were basically fucked. Nowadays, with coffins, easy zone ins, and graveyards, you would have to be a total retard to lose your gear. Howver, given that I am a paranoid old school bastard, I keep a set of my old Thurg armor and enough passable gear to fill every slot, just in case.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .
Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."

I've got some misc no-drop gear I haven't gotten around to destroying, mainly becasue I haven't needed the bank space. All of my hate armor that hadn't already been destroyed got turned in to the PoK bubbas. The droppable gear I have would probably get handed down to someone if I got an upgrade, upgrades are pretty unlikely though
I kept a set of CR gear for a long time, and only had to use it once.
And I've still got a few pieces of gear given to me long ago, like the uber lizard scale cloak Geno gave me and my SolRo quest stuff
