I have rediscovered the fun of playing on a text mud. You may all now be happy for me.

Actually they are great while at work because it is switch to different things when the boss comes in.

Requirements:

-must have a 300bps modem (1200bps recommended)
-willing to wait that extra few seconds before switching to the fake excel spreadsheet when the boss walks in
-fewer than 4 typos per 100 words.
-monochrom monitor (colored text coming june 2004)
-working knowledge of deWd Sp33k

hehehe well, I am able to solo and do skills while at work. Not playing an important class (cleric) like I did on EQ though even then I'd let people die because Cinemax was on.

ive hung out w/ people playing clerics man, and they will be smokin bowls, having people over, watchin TV, all that shit in between CHs!

Nah Thalowin always rocked, trying to remember the guys name, it was something like Badibutti. While in North TOV he was out finding bugs on his lawn for some school project.

I suffered more deaths that day than trips with Winnow as my cleric

How many times was it that Zeddic died while you were watching Skinamax? I remember it being a weekly occurence on Friday and Saturday for sure, usually a couple times. It didnt help that Tagad was also doing his own cleric game of taking a shot for each mob rotation. Towards the end of the night, the heals came slower and slower.

All I remember was Garvok having a coranary by the end of every raid as he was covering four groups, Tagad being drunk as hell, Varia nuking and meleing, and Grizz watching porn. Madren used to carry around an entire set of Wisdom gear so he could cleric too, it was so bad. Many people are in Garv's purple club from those days.

It got to the point where other were healing my group even if I were there and active. So I let them and only cast when absolutely needed. Poor Zeddic. Ahh the good ol days. I really miss Cinemax.

I am back on Sojourn atm. The mud EQ was loosly based on.
