SigSauer 220 .45 caliber
S&W Model 66 .357 magnum
Beretta BL-1 12 Gauge over and under
Remington Woodsmaster 742 Deluxe in .308
Mossberg 500C 12 Gauge pump
Mossberg 500L 20 Gauge pump
Winchester Model 42 .410 pump
The .410 is the first shotgun I ever used. Belonged to my Grandmother and was the perfect bird gun for a young hunter. The Beretta shotgun was my Grandfather's, as well as the Woodsmaster. Typically the Woodsmaster 742 was made in .30-06 but a few were done in .308. This one has very detailed engraving on both sides. One side shows a deer running through the woods and the other a bear.
The Mossbergs were gifts for myself and my son. I got one for my Dad at the same time, so we all have Mossberg 500 model pump shotguns.
The S&W was a state troopers carry weapon that I traded for a CD-ROM drive a few years back. The Sig was the first pistol I ever bought. I really like the .45 for my primary ccw.
I had a Browning Sweet 16 w/poly choke that was stolen in a robbery. My Dad's 12-gauge Gold was also taken at that time.
EDIT: Because I mis-spelled the same word 3 times.

wow...
I have had over 30 personal handguns over the years... (I had a FFL pre-Brady) but owned no more than 6 at once though... they range everywhere from a Browning Buckmark .22 up to a .44 Desert Eagle.
Currently all I have is an UNFIRED pre-brady high-cap S&W 4006 with tritium sights, a Sig P228 with Crimson Trace Lasergrips that is my carry gun, and a Russian Baikal Makarov.
The Makarov was my first handgun and has over 12,000 rounds through it, so the accuracy has been gone for a long long time. My 12 year old son uses it to train doubletaps at 5 yards.

I'm not a gun person, don't own any, nor will i evar(most likely). I do think guns are coolio though. My neighbor and co-worker down the street owns a sweet as M1, as well as an arsenal of additional guns. His brother was in the Marines and moved over to the army reserve to train heli pilots. His buddy was the pilot of the first heli crash in Kuwait...the twin prop one, with the British aboard. Although my last two sentences had nothing to do with guns, just a fucked up fact on how close the war can hit home.

Still own the .22 single-shot rifle my Dad taught me to shoot with at age 12.
Also still have the Ithaca .410 he gave me a few years later when he decided I knew enough about gun safety to start hunting with him.
Other than that, no guns. After basically zero practice in the last 20 years, I think I could probably hit the ground with a 12 gauge and birdshot, as long as I was standing still and noone was talking to me.
I'm an archery nut myself. Pistol on bow competition is fun.

I have:
1) A 440 High Carbon Steel reinforced English Bastard Sword.
2) A tradtional folded Katana, full tang of course.
3) A Kukuri, unfortunately only 240 Carbon steel that sits very near to my little safe.
5) Some 10 or so throwing knifes within easy reach of my bed.
6) A desire to murder any fuck who comes into my home in the night unwelcome.
Aside from that, I personally dislike guns, but do not hold it against anyone who uses them for self defense.
For me though, they are uncomfortable.

VERY Sincere. I shot my first gun at the age of 5, hunted until about 4 years ago and will continue to shoot and own firearms till I am 85, with luckCracc wrote:It evades me if this post is sarcastic or sincere.

<---- Terrified of Guns
Growing up in Compton, you would think I would be used to them. Its not the noise of them, its the power they possess. If a gun is being handled near me I always walk out of the room, and a pointed gun always has me ducking for cover.
I likely will never own a gun, nor will I keep one in my house.
I see the reasons for others to carry guns, So I would never speak out against them. Criminals will always carry guns, no matter the law. So, Citizens should be able to for defense purposes if they choose.

Well said, I grew up a hick when we'd hear gunfire during the right time of year, everyone would think of venison. Call it Pavlovian but it's true. Gunfire for us meant hunting and target practice, rather different then Compton. A full freezer was a good thing to have before winter.Maddux wrote:<---- Terrified of Guns

...yes, I may have mentioned this once before...
My favorite hobby used to be this:
My ex-wife worked at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio Texas... the Doctors and Nurses she worked with were collectively the largest group of anti-gun anti-2nd amendment nuts I have ever met...
I used to invite them, one at a time (several rejected my invitation on principle) to accompany me to the shooting range located in Bracken Texas where I did my shooting. At that time I owned a Ruger Buckmark .22 with a 6 inch barrel, a Russian Makarov, a Glock 17L, a Ruger P85 and a Ruger P90.
I would spend about 30-45 minutes (depending on how stupid they were) going over safe handling, targeting, proper trigger control, loading and unloading, and the use of the safety mechanism and/or decocker if so equipped.
Another part of the lecture that was repeatedly drilling into their heads is that guns are only as dangerous as the whacked-out lunatic holding it.
While we were there, we would agree not to discuss the social/political aspect of an armed society -- we were there to shoot guns.
Of the 11 people I took out there:
9 were converted into gun owners, all of whom requested my assistance when they were ready to purchase a hand gun of thier own. The concensus was "This shit is FUN". One is named Dr. Tony Allen, and eventually went on to buy a highly modified full-race gun for competing in IPSC! Tony is my star pupil heh.
One was at least willing to accept that guns weren't inherently evil and that it was acceptable for "some" trained and responsible people to own and carry them. She even went so far as to allow "gun owners" to be added to the list of potential husbands. Prior to that she wouldn't date a man that owned firearms. She was from Jersey
One was a die-hard extremist that help on to his position regarding firearms in society. The fact that I was well educated in the proper use and handling (as well as applicable state and federal laws regarding firearms use/misuse) held no significance. The fact that he had shot several types of weapons that day (and had a damn good time doing it) meant nothing also. For him, his mind was made up, and he held to his belief that private citizens should be unarmed. This guy was from Sacramento.
I had to stop at 11 "students" because I got PCS orders to Korea... bummer. It sure was a lot of fun (and frustration) doing this on Saturdays, and I do indeed miss it...

Hey Ahmik
You went to the same shooting range that I've gone to for 15 or so years. Not the best looking in the world, but fairly well priced.
