Funniest thing is I work for Nokia Customer Service and my Sup comes by today with instructions on how to handle calls about this..*sighs*

I am sure the SPCA and all the cat lovers have nothing better to do than call Nokia to complain about some very hilarious online video *rolls his eyes* I tried very very hard not to laugh as my Sup as she was sooo serious about this...

Sheesh, lighten up. Nobody is advocating pet abuse.

The people in the ad didn't abuse the animal. The animal did something dumb just like we've all done. I fail to see how that would be considered pet abuse.

Assuming the animal in the ad is even real the entire time. Which I doubt. Looks like we need the official Nokia statement released here!

I dont think it was a fan cord. Ive never seen a fan cord that spun around like that. I think it was something they put on the fan to attracked the cat to it. They obviously meant to do it, they put pillows along the wall and video taped it. Thats not something you do when its a random accident.

I'd bet anything it's totally fake. The camera follows eveything too well for it to be candid. Also, people have been making little snuff films like that on the 'Net for years.
