I can tolerate popups...
What I cannot tolerate is
popups that install spyware .
What enrages me even more are these fucking pricks who claim their spyware is something that it is not.
Do you want to install and run "Virtual Bouncer, to check your computer for Adware and Spyware, and accept this license agreement....
This piece of shit program is spyware that uses other spyware programs to gather its information.
It can also silently run an 'update' program that can download and excute arbitrary code.
The latest version of Ad-Aware will clean this shit of your system if it has already installed itself.

That's why I block pop-ups. Although some get by still.

I think it's ghey that IE doesn't have built in Pop Up protection options.
There should be options:
-never open more than one browser window
-confirm additional browser windows
What would be so hard about that?

That's not the point.
You can have your security settings in IE catch any shit like this before it installs, but most people don't bother.
Allakhazam has been a part of the EQ community for years.
I would hope that they would scrutinize their advertisers better than this.
Spyware like this does nothing but piss people off.

I didnt say it was the point. Do I ever address the actual point of a post here? Nay!
What's the option for ZERO pop ups in IE? I'm sure it would help all the people using pop up software for this fix. Thanks Miir.

This is why I use Mozilla, with the zero tollerance for popups set. God, the web is finally back to the way it was when Al Gore first invented it.

I dont want to use opera. That doesnt have all the features of IE. All I want is IE to have an option to eliminate pop-ups built into it.

Opera sucks. Popups that install spyware suck.
Premium Allakazam membership takes away all of the ads.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

Got an email back from Allakhazams and he said that one was 'snuck' into rotation and has since been removed.
Good stuff.

Try Avant(sp). Its a "shell" for IE that has all the cool features of mozilla/opera (tab'd browsing, popup blocking etc..) but is still IE.

Yea, avant owns everything.
