Vezot bonks Sony Online Entertainment on the head!
I got laid less when i used a Pentium. I talk about my AMD and how it has 8 data channels instead of 6 and why AMD's QuantiSpeed Architecture easily out-performs Intel's Hyperthreading technology. Suffice to say that it gets the chicks all hot and flustered...

I was attempting to put it into laymans terms, but if you must know...
Routers are occasionally taken out of service for upgrades, software changes, replacement, and occasionally they just crash. When this happens, routing tables which are designed by individuals smarter than you reconverge. This means that all the network traffic previously taking one path that involved a given router, now must take another path. This reconvergence generally takes a short period of time, but traffic recovers, and all is well.
HOW DO YOU LIKE THOSE APPLES, MOTHERFUCKER?

The "map" to get from point A-B changes when a circut fails for whatever reason. That change has to be transmitted across the borders of a number of different organizations that cooperate with each other to various extents. Some have poor designs and/or overloaded hardware, insufficent memory, etc..Vezot wrote:Shizzle...They just went down again or there was a 'router hiccup'
When service is restored the same thing happens again, pretty neat to watch...
