"Give Canada Cookie Crisp or give Canada death! I'm cool either way."

Compared to the Hungry Man Breakfast this looks pretty healthy.

wow that article is even more disgusting in the morning.

apparently you can't buy these in canada because swanson was told they were too unhealthy to put in stores (the canadian version of the FDA is more strict). so the hungry man breakfast joins the ranks of cookie crisp cereal and aerosol cheese in a can™ as not real food products.

No Cookie Crisp? You people grow some of the best reefer on the planet, yet lack the bestest munchie food? No wonder so many Canadians are so angry...

Until you look closely at the serving suggestion that says "one serving" of cookie crisp cereal is about 11 of the cookies. I think I can get about 6-8 on one table spoon.

Only in the states can you pour milk on a bowl full of cookies and call it breakfast. Coincidentally I can use the leg from a pair of pants of an average woman my age as a sleeping bag.

Bear in mind I love cookie crisp and usually buy it when I shop down there, but breakfast it is not.

Honestly, a cup of Cookie Crisp isn't any worse than some of the other sugarrific cereals out there. Fr00t Loops, Cpt. Crunch, Cocoa Puffs are all fairly nutritious. Not health food, but better than B&J when the munchies kick in...

Actually, no. Serving size is one cup. There is 11 servings per box!

Not the same!

I love when parents buy this crap and fill their kids with it in the morning than they go and give them Ritalin because for some reason they're hyperactive...

If you do the math it is the same. 347g in the box / 30g per serving :)

I understand that part. But that's not what Kyoukan was saying. There's more than 11 cookies in a cup! Damn you people. Now I have to go out and buy some Cookie Crisp and measure.

Asking this because I really don't know that much at all about Canada.
Does your government really say what you can eat or not eat? OR should I say they keep certain foods off your market if they deem it not healthy?

Aslanna was challenging the 11 cookies per serving though.. so doing the math.

if 11 cookies = 1 cup and 1 cup = 30g and there is 347g per box..

347/30 = 11.6 servings per box if one serving was 11 cookies that would mean there are only 127.6 cookies in the box each one weighing 2.7 grams...

the last time i had cookie crisp cereal a number of years ago.. i am certain there is more than 127.6 cookies in the box...

Well I must say that if our government is doing that and letting us have Cookie Crisp we aren't as oppressed as you are. 8)

Buddy Jesus Christ dont you guys get tired of bashing America? If Canada hates America so much just come across the border and do something about it, or better yet just pack up the country and move ( Thats what I would do if I hated my neighbors), Until then STFU please

Some people think things are healthy that others do not, apparently some countries decide what amounts of nutrients are healthy while others may have higher amounts or lower amounts. They Have an opinion or have formed a opinion or shortened they Deemed it.
Maybe you just don't like that word. /Silvarel slides a cup of Joe and a doughnut over to Teurde.
