A caucasian muslim will also look exactly like a caucasian christian.

If you introduce a caucasian into their culture, you can damn well bet he will be viewed with extreme caution. rofl airport profiling.. being from Norway but living in USA I fly quite a bit overseas. I have several visas to US and about 20 entries in my passport. I am white, mid-20s, dress decently (know from experience that if I need a new transfer etc it goes a lot easier if you dress decently) etc. You know what the profiling does? It stops me every single time, wether it is domestic in the US or international. I've been stopped 3 times on the way to one flight for "random searches", even when I was with my SO who did not get stopped.

Profiling doesn't work. It does nada. It is just yet another BS excuse.

Pakistan is overwhelmingly muslim. After India became independent they split into 2 countries, pretty much expelling all muslims to Pakistan/all non-muslim to India.

Bottom line here is that the enforcement agencies should use all the tools they have at their disposal. Being politically correct will inevitably get people killed.

Those muslims or people of mideastern desent should not be upset at this "Profiling".

The FBI has used profiling for years IIRC serial killers tend to be white males, 20 - 30 years old etc. This means that when serial killings take place they will be contacting many, many people who are obviously innocent. But in order to do the job properly they must "harrass" innocents on the way to getting the criminals.

This is a far more sophisticated theory than Relativity, which falls down because it fails to predict the actions of the lobsters, whatever their mood, and makes no mention of string.

You're making the assumption that this profiling is actually making our country safer. I'm not familiar with any independant studies that have proven this to be true. I think you're making an exceptionally large and dangerous assumption. However, it does indeed appear like it should be helping to stop terrorists. Currently, I feel that America is over-saturated with similar placebos. Our sense of security is definately a false one. We are making more enemies than friends as of late. Many of which aren't as eaisly identified by the color of thier skin, thier chosen religion, or the language they speak. Profiling is a crutch that may very well prove our undoing in the future. How soon people forget the likes of Timothy McVeigh...

My blue eyed, blonde, christian fiance has been searched on 95% of her flights in the last 8 months. She has been subjected to having her bags dumped out multiple times. That profiling sure is unfair!

You are just being a sensationalist dipshit looking for something to whine about. People are not just going to ignore someone of middle eastern heritage. I don't expect anyone to apologize or feel bad about it. I wold expect the exact same thing if I were to live in a middle eastern country right now. The difference being, I would be MUCH more likely to end up a corpse due to my being a caucasian than just being "profiled".

Profiling is a term. Because the term gained prominence in the media recently everyone who is not a caucasion screams "Racial Profiling" when they are stopped at security checks. I travel quite a bit and when travelling have had my luggage searched and my carry-on electronically sniffed.
