They said this would be a simple 1 hour patch. Either they badly under estimated or they got 2 people workin on it via tin can and strings.
I got laid less when i used a Pentium. I talk about my AMD and how it has 8 data channels instead of 6 and why AMD's QuantiSpeed Architecture easily out-performs Intel's Hyperthreading technology. Suffice to say that it gets the chicks all hot and flustered...

DISCLAIMER: By no means amd I saying SoE had a problem or that this is a shitty extension/expansion, but on the other hand I disagree that this is the "smoothest" explansion release so far.

Well...
A. Downloadable extension, being the first of it's kind, I think it went amazing smooth in that regard
B. Frog models and class stats are bad ass as well as ridable dinos
C. All the in new features work amazingly well

but on the other hand...
D. Need GOOD documentation on the new features, especially for the cartography tool. Anyone know what the Active buttons do for example?
E. Almost all of the spell quests are bugged
F. Charms are completely broken
G. Lots of weird unplayable bugs have been happening, here's 2 examples, and I've heard of more:

My friend yesterday had his entire spellbook randomly first 4 pages got wipped, rest of spell book was filled with either "Unknown Spell" or druid spells (and he's a cleric). His spellbook fixed itself when he logged out and back in.

Another friend of mine experienced a bug where he rightclicked+hold for the info window on a intem on a corpse and it showed the item, then started showing all the worn tems in his inventory one after another (1-2 seconds between items), his mouse & keyboard became unresponsive, then all of a sudden after it got to his charm slot, then it thew up a huge what looked like a hex dump and crashed EQ.

On a side note because I feel like ranting for no reason...
For those who want to agrue that the 2 bugs above could have something to do with their gui, well I want to say 1 thing about SoE's gui policy. See whenever something goes wrong they say "well can you replicate it with the default gui". Well if you know anything about XML, the whole point of the language is stability in code. See unlike HTML, XML requires structure and correctness. For example if there sin't a </font> command in HTML before a <font> command, it's not going to completely screw up the page. In fact in various browsers it may display differently, but it will still load. If you forget something even trivial in an XML document or it's not stuctured properly, then it DOESN'T load. Now with that said if you have GUI that SoE thinks is the culprit of your bug, then the EQ interface shouldn't load that XML file at all and should switch to the default. If it passes the XML loading stage then it shouldn't matter at all whether you are using the default GUI or a custom gui. Again, I'm not talking about "I loaded XYZ's inventory window.xml and don't have a charm slot" I'm talking SoE saying something's not a bug because you weren't using the default GUI.

Oh and another bug I found (hey it's my job so it comes naturally when I get home).

If you open all your bank slots, you can't open any inventory slots. Visa Versa works just fine (open all inventory slots, then open all bank slots). It's not a big deal, just freaked me out at first, closed bank, closed inv, opened inv, then could open inv slots again.

I can confirm, for all those wondering, that the STFU feature is working properly.

I can live with being limited to 16 open containers. It sucked when previously, you could only have 2 open at a time.

EDIT : I misunderstood you -- I see what you are saying now -- but still, even at 1200x1024, I don't have room on my screen for more than 16 open containers, and would never try such a thing :)
