Anyone remember the good ol' Days? Where Saiphos would give us royal rumble events, our petitions that could not be answered by guides were forwarded to gm's...
Ever since then it seems to me the customer service has gone straight to hell. I know several people with issues that have been 'forwarded to the server GM' but never EVER answered, even after repeated petitions and weeks of waiting.
Anyone else experiencing EXTREME problems with customer service since the GM's went on the 'rotation' system????
From what i've managed to discern we no longer have a set gm...but rather us and 3 servers SHARE a GM...Meaning (s)he is the gm for those 4 servers (including us) and handles all issues regarding any of them...I think this is bullshit.

Tinket was not a GM. Tinket was a senior guide.... a volenteer (not paid). Also Tinket is very old skool.
Veeshan was a ledgens server for awhile when Saiphos was GM. Things got done fast and Saiphos was always doing some fun things during downtime. Heck our guild got a personal GM event from Saiphos when waiting for rage to pop.

Prolly the reason they fired him. Customer service intervening to make the worst fucking camp in the game a little better for everyone? Fuck that shit!

Saiphos was a GREAT GM.. He loved his job and thats what made him different.. he did get a promotion to marketing or some such.. I never dealt with Tinket or Widjan personally. I am probably glad to..
Saiphos, for the short time he was with us, set the bar pretty damn high. Hell, he was the only GM I remember that would take /tells. He went around to lots of folks before he left and hung out for a bit. A rarity.... Nobody will be able to fill his shoes. blech
Saiphos rocked. Never before did I see a GM come to a camp and just hang out and chat with players.
It seemed like every other day he was doing a quest of some sort. Small goofy stuff mostly, but still a neat diversion from raids/xp grinds.
When I talked with him on his last day on Veeshan, he mentioned that he was going into a rotational program to do some marketing type stuff. He did seem to indicate that there could be a possibility of him resuming his GM duties after the rotation was over, but was kinda vague.
Actually I met Saiphos today on the EQ Invasion tour in Cleveland. He's one of the guys doing the tour. He said he really misses us and hopes to come back and at least visit when he goes back to being a roving GM in September.
He said his email is still the same though, anyone know what it is?

I have it from when he suspended me for a week or so. hes good people. He was the best GM we ever had. Even after he suspended me for a week. he still was nice enough to answer my /t's and such. hell, he checked up with me almost daily to see what I was up to.
