In Texas we hardly ever get much snow, in fact most of this week I've been able to wear short sleeved shirts and shorts.

This must make people in DC happy:

http://www.wtopnews.com/index.php?sid=45215&nid=25
(WASHINGTON) -- City employees are working round the clock and top officials are on call at all hours as the District prepares for what could be a huge snowstorm.
So where is Mayor Tony Williams?

He is vacationing in Puerto Rico, where it is sunny and 80 degrees.

now that's fucking rough. here in st.louis we had about an inch of ice plus a couple inches of snow on top of it and i thought that was bad. i'd rather take an inch of ice plus a little snow over two feet of snow any day :)

So far weve got a foot on the ground and its climbing. Should have seen me trying to scrape off my car yesterday before work. It came up to my knees. Everybody around here is getting cabin fever or something because we've been stuck in the house so long. Damn Ohio winters.

God talk about being shit upon.. We got over 12 inches so far here.
Tonight we are to get 1 to 2 inches per hour.
Then more snow tommorrow.Funny to even see 4 wheel drive vehicles sliding about, they always brag about that here. Now today they are just all hush hush about it.
People are crazy with the milk and bread at the moment
Anyone else getting dumped upon?
I said up there over 12 inches so far because I have been at work all day so haven't been able to watch the news yet(guessing I will get the whole scoop then).
Take Care all you peeps with the snow ,especially Virginia*hear they got major dumpage*

Don't think we are supposed to get hit as hard in NH. But, we haven't gone below two feet of snow on the ground since xmas, so we don't need anymore!

I'm kinda hoping we get pounded Monday night so I can call in Tuesday!

Funny to even see 4 wheel drive vehicles sliding about

I drive a 4runner and i slide around purposely....random doughnut thru intesection while people walk their pets all bundled up with lil sedans stopped at the light is funny and common. And doing doughnuts and sliding around parking lots while teenagers with their parents and adults bringing out the kid in themselves cheer at you...in a way :D

We had everything yesterday. Rain turned to freezing rain, then a break. Then we got about an inch of sleet, then turned into snow and got about 6 inches. 50mph winds too. It was nasty.

I'm with Cane on that one... Sitting in the spa tonight, it was in the 60s outside, and as I warmed up with my rum'n'coke, I was looking at the mountains, with the tiny snowcaps on top, thinking of when I'd actually be able to go up and play in the snow this year... Probably not gonna happen.

Started the 'Ice' Friday afternoon mixed with a bit of sleet.

Saturday morning I was leaving with my sister to go to the pet store with her 3 kids. As they each made it to the bottom of my steps, they did this domino-style fall 1-2-3, all flat on their little backs.
(they were fine)
Its been 'icing' since Friday and this blizzard style snow shit has been going non-stop since yesterday about 4pm.

Noone is allowed to drive or they get a $100 fine unless they have a good excuse, all Urgent Care Center's closed. Its peachy!!

Looking outside all I can think is...Snowboard Baby!!!! (Pah, I dont h8 -you hafta go to the mountain's for that kinda fun, although a jack'n'coke and spa sound nice  )

Expect him to file a lawsuit before the week is out. Not enough warning labels on snowblowers about not putting your fingers in the moving blades!

I would love to hear his explanation on how he managed to cut his fucking finger off in the snowblower.

"I saw it on Jackass, officer," said the pathetic hick of a simpleton. Quickly he followed it up with, "Vote Bush!"

Haha, ok seriously, please don't let my joke derail this into a political thread. We have 395892384932 other threads for that.
