nothing for quite a while...

then...

Circle of Seven - i remember some shit going down in the arena one time where we kept on slaughtering some guild in the LR arena and foh came with a few groups and corpse camped us hehe...was a loooong time ago...shout out to ractin, shear, pearl, dedart, melodious and the rest of the crew =)...had a lot of fun with these guys early in my game

Unbroken Chain - Created/formed/lead this guild for quite a long time...some great players passed through here including former officers Raedan and Strumms...even had one of shearinfinity's gimps in the guild for a while =)...was a tight group/family oriented guild...in time i grew bored with the game at this level and i handed over the reigns to Lantanamoon and moved on out solo for a little while...will never forget these people from my early eq days

Pravus Dei - great group of people that accepted my efforts and pestering every single day for about two months before i got a trial tag...smoved up to be officer and eventually the GM that some of you now love to hate ^^

i like this thread =)

The Sons of Steel up till Kunark came out. Took a 6month or so break from EQ and came back and joined up with CoE when Velious was fairly new.

I forgot about Rage Veeshan! Was with them a little bit...like a month maybe in my second shaman's days. Mid 30's probably.

I was an officer in every guild I stayed in for over a month. Tis amazing I gotz the skillz for leadership! More or less I can't stand taking orders :P

The first guild I joined in March or April of 99' a few days after EQ came out was called Bloodguard on Innoruuk... they were the badasses of the server at the time and I had to stab Ambassador D'vinn with my dragoon dirk (<~~l33t) and post a screenshot on their message board to get in. Good times. Was there about a month.

Next guild I joined was the Seekers of Lore on Veeshan. I switched when I heard a few of my old quake buddies played there (shout out to herf, lerf, chronik, PSoA 4 life). Spent a year there, until shortly after Kunark was released. Great bunch of people at the time, they would do anything for anyone. /salute Bugbok, Ezdon, Zealott, Jesana and the rest of the gang, all of whom retired long ago.

The Seeker's higher lvl's broke off into the formation of PD, but I wasn't allowed in because I was still playing Kalm Travelerr (druid) who they didn't need. So I wound up in Council. They went off the deep end before long and Farstorm was created but I didn't stick around. I created a monk, emmer, who I leveled to 50 and made it into PD where I remained for a year or two until I retired.

Trias - The Circle of Seven owned! I used to tear shit up in SK with Shearinfinity, Ractin and Pearl... well actually it was mostly just Shear and Pearl and I, Ractin was usually wafflefacing in an aviak hut ><

Few guilds fer me. . .(yes, this is my first post on VV!)

The Companions - This was back before Kunark or anything came out. . . Farr was in the guild and got me into it, had played my druid Latfas back then.

Celestial Tomb - Was in CT for about 2 and a half years, then left and created Legacy of Virtues with Sirton, Doright and a few others.

Legacy of Virtues - Created / joined shortly after Sirton had left and Xan took over leadership.

Cestus Dei - I love it =)

Order of the Crimson Dragon (Citra 1-12)
The Oracle (Citra 17-34)
Order of the Vigilant Hand (Citra 42-50)
The Protectors (Citra 51-52)
Ring of Shadows (Citra 52-54)
Celestial Tomb (Citra 56-65, but I joined as Pils..made him in order to join so 1-65 although I was not tagged until 54.)

Most of those guilds asked me to join to check them out (except CT, CT I applied to, and I stayed there for 2 years) Since I was guildless at those times or just checking another guild out I didn't really feel an attachment. This is back in the day where you gave someone a tag rather then a temp tag or just a raid channel...tags didn't mean much, you would be like exping with someone and you would just get a guild invite without being asked about it.

Actually Sabek that *IS* how I got in RoS.

I was temp guilded for Protectors, Kindak and Kardolaf asked me if I would be thier cleric in Sebilis, apparently they had seen me in burning woods over the last few weeks and figured since they needed an enchanter and they had none on-line they would ask me to come.

So I got my key and we went intisde where I met 6 other people (it was a group and a half for exploration). One of whom was Dalmoth, and there was Nazbuk or someone and a few others...they gave me a temp tag to RoS for the night so we could communicate between groups because there were no chat channels or raid channels.

At the end of the day they told me if I wanted to I could keep the tag for a few days and try thier guild out because they liked my play style and personality. At that point in time and until my departure a few months later, I was the 3rd highest level person in RoS, Kindak and Kardolaf beat me. I was also often the only or main enchanter on RoS raids at that point in time (when we were learning hate and fear).

It was also during this period of time when I wrote the enchanter epic walk-thru guide with Diku. I was also the guy who helped Baelish start EQenchanters (was prior to that a combination of my web page "Brew's OCD pages", and Words of Enchantment) back before it was EQcasters.

Thanks for your sarcasm tho. Next time check your facts first so you don't make your guild look stupid. I've been around since beta, and I used to be very active, I wasn't some random newbie....but fact is any time you had a multi-group situation...some guild invites would pop-up...just for chat channel reasons, and sometimes if you were good they asked if you would like to keep it, that's just the way things worked back in the day.

Ash wasn't ahead of you? Thought he was, not that it makes a difference.

Not too sure on the primary thing either. I always remember hunting with everyone's primaries, especially during our fear/hate days.

No, Ashur was a level or so behind me, he did pass me in levels after I left RoS tho, as I switched my primary to Pilsburry to join CT. I had to get Pils from 0-54 in a month.

And by primary I mean, when a pull was incoming it was my job alone ot mezz everything, the other enchanters didn't mez anything until after I was dead. Which is one of the reasons I didn't level faster, because I died maybe 8x+ a night, mostly with 49 rezzes...because only one cleric had the 56 rez (kardolaf) and he was frequently OOM as Kindak's main healer. And we had no cleric epics in RoS at that time, epics were introduced halfway through my short stay with RoS and so very few were out there. Besides we were having a hard time on naggy and vox...

What character did I know you as? I don't remember a Chidoro...

Bordan, my shammy. Heh, if I remember correctly, I think you were a reference of mine, along with Myst/Sabek and Sedeth of companion fame back in the day

Edit: Chid was mothballed in Feb of '00 but I like the name and have been known in the Veesh community as such.
