I can't believe that Fox is stretching it out for yet another week. I feel dirty.

I offer you a solution...although it is pretty late to start now...
Me and my friends get together at one our places and drink beer, make burgers, and watch Joey $. If the show sucks, we then start to make fun of every aspect of the show so that we still have a good time, at the expense of Joey $...which was the original intent of sitting to watch the show in the first place.
Give it a try for next week, have some people over...you know the first hour, atleast, is gonna suck harry sack...so you should have people to share the boredom with around you!

You should've read my post on this subject on the other Joe Millionaire thread.Fairweather Pure wrote:I can't believe that Fox is stretching it out for yet another week. I feel dirty.

Regardless, this sort of thing is par for the course in reality shows. You can't blame Fox for wanting to squeeze as many ratings points and advertising dollars as it can from a show like this. No more than you can blame Sony for wanting to milk EQ for all it's worth. When you have a hit on your hands, you make the most of it.

The bullshit about that though was that they led us to believe that a choice would be made last night. I thought there would be all the way until the show was over, at which point I was like "Omg, they lied to me." It was odd, I'd never really felt cheated by a show before.

As long as you're tuning in next week, what does Fox care?Sylvus wrote:The bullshit about that though was that they led us to believe that a choice would be made last night. I agree with you, and I think what they're doing sucks. But at the same time, I think it makes total sense. Fox isn't putting a show like "Joe Millionaire" on the air to uplift America's moral and intellectual quality of life. It's putting the show on the air to make money.

I knew the choice wouldn't be made, but I think the episode was a waste of time for me to watch. The only thing I got out of it was it looked like Evan was trying to prepare Zore for a let-down. I also thought the comment Sarah made about if Evan didn't like either of them, he would choose Zora because she lived farther away came off soooooo catty....but that was the only good moment in the whole hour.

My house is split, most of us think that Zora is the right choice, and one of my roommates likes Bondage Queen. He actually goes so far as to 'hate' Zora. I can't really see why. She seems like a sweet girl and she's got a hot body. One of the things that really bugs him is that she wore the shirt into the hot tub, I just think she was self-conscious at the thought of being on national TV.
Bottom line, I think Bondage Queen would be a terrible choice, she seems like such a bitch. Her cattiness with talking to Zora about the locations in which they live, how she keeps talking about how she can change him, and she definitely seems more interested in the money than Zora does. I like how she was all gah-gah about the jewels and Zora was talking about how she'd rather have something practical than jewelry. I wonder if they let Evan see any of the behind the scenes stuff when making his decisions?
